When Emmy's great aunts and uncle were signed to the same record label Decca back in the late 1960's, the label wanted them to be a copy of their successful sister, Loretta Lynn. That was a big mistake and the best thing was when each one, but Loretta, left the label and found success, e.g. Crystal Gayle "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue" mega hit. Emmy is very different that her successful relatives, yet has enough talent to succeed in her own lane. Emmy's grandmother Loretta Lynn had success from 1960 up until a few years before she passed away. Her cd went #1 in Germany and #4 in USA.
