I'm 68 years, and I have the Radiohead CD with this song. "...I want to have control...I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul. I want you to notice when I'm not around..." my favorite lyrics as boy, aargh, that's me. After a brutal marriage (of 10yrs), I was able to ground myself, and I was fine. My heart was in love with a man 8yrs younger than myself. My head said "No! No!!". My heart won, and we've been together for over 30yrs. This song came out just about the time we finally got together, and I love the place it takes me to when I hear it 🙃

@@alexc.7868 Were you there? Do you know that for a fact? I saw a comment on another video of this where someone said that they were there and the pause really happened. I am more inclined to believe them than some dude that is guessing.

This is beautiful, mesmerizing beyond words, this...just feels. Like some sort of faith. This kind of voice makes the silence between notes a trance. That piano couldn't sound more perfect than complementing such a voice and song.

He definitely knew his specialty when he said he wants people to feel things when he sings because he did exactly just that. Also this reminded me of Calum Scott's first audition on Britain's Got Talent in 2015 when he performed Robyn's 'Dancing on My Own' and made it his own. I love it when singers do that and nail it😍❤🔥

Calum Scott didn't make it his own, he did the Kings of Leon version
@unicornqueendrika47932 жыл бұрын
@@johnnyfggs I'll have to disagree I heard the Kings of Leon version before Calum's version and I can tell you very well that those are different version. And lastly Calum's version is way more intimate, slower and it's just unique for me. He definitely owned that song. He sang it his own way and definitely not like the Kings of Leon. But this is my opinion and that's your opinion, so let's just respect each other's opinions.
@johnnyfggs2 жыл бұрын
@@unicornqueendrika4793 I'll cab agree with that, he took there cover of her song and made it his own. And he sang the hell out it,
