Okay so I’m so happy that they’re getting this opportunity and this is totally amazing for them they 100% deserve it BUT I wish the judges would’ve read up on what was going on a little more (we all know there are producers for the sake of such things) but it was almost like they were undermining what they were doing by 1. Im on my mans account and he will be so lost when he sees this haha but netflix blew all star cheer up. I did it doe a decade before i perm. Messed my arm up. Gabi Butler has been my fav for a long time but Cheer Athletics where theyre from is one of the best as is cali allstar who has a show on youtube. It made gabi famous and then she went to navarro which is the netflix show cheer was on and where she is in florida is top as well. Long winded comment to say these kids are from a great team and im glad people are seeing how athletic competitive cheer is. Edit i was blanking on the florida team. Let me start this by saying I used to be an allstar cheerleader and I love CA, but I’m sorry, this is not appropriate for a talent contest that’s prize is a show in vegas and has you change routines every performance. There are cheer competitions for a reason

The thing is there are competitions for a reason, yes. BUT Wildcats represent us all cheerleaders right now publicly. We are ALL wronged by being told „cheer is not a sport“ „you just dance“ or „it‘s not that hard“ and it definitely is. Even if wildcats don‘t win they bring more people the recognition every cheerleader deserve and shows people that think cheer isn‘t a sport that it really is. So many people don‘t see that because they don‘t even know cheerleading competitions exist and AGT is a great way to show that saying or thinking cheer is not a sport is in fact incorrect. You can have different opinions on things but can‘t deny the truth that cheer in fact is a sport. Just like for example tennis is.
