I resonate so much with this song. When I first heard this song a few months ago I decided to click on this and see. It had been years since I watched AGT but I was searching youtube and all of a sudden it came up for me. I thought to myself I'll watch it because it has a lot of views so it must be good. I know that Lily probably felt like giving up her dream when her mom past away. She probably had to sacrifice so much and get a 9-5 job to take care of her living expenses. It must have been a tough decision to jump out of her "safe space" without a safety net under her but I believe God and her mom's spirit worked on making a path for her to get her dream back. In her eyes this was her last chance to achieve a dream she thought she had in her hands but slipped away once before. That's why she sings this song with so much passion and she puts all emotion into this. She's still fighting for her daydream and not giving up. She's recorded about a dozen singles and probably still making music. She's ending her tour she's been on since March of 2022 this coming August on the 5th in San Diego. Lily if you see this thank you for giving me inspiration to go get my dream back. This song was the push I needed even though it scares me and makes me nervous to make that leap from my safe space I know that God will help me through this.
