I do wish there were more talented songwriters, guitar and piano performers as well as composers. This kid is talented but honestly I've seen this style before. It's not that original and it's not really that impressive in my opinion. It just looks flashy. Your average person knows not much about guitar so they're easily impressed. Imagine Guthrie Govan on this show. He's truly rare talent and skill.
@masondtrumpet4 жыл бұрын
That’s true but if you think about it talent is judged by people who can’t do that thing. I’m sure there are other people out there who can do that better and think he did a bad job but since the people who can’t do that outnumber the people who can, he is classified as amazing.

@@toshiroyamada2443 He's pretty much playing classical guitar fingerstyle on a steel-string. That is not "pretty normal fingerstyle"; even if you don't consider those advanced techniques he's using, the strumming he was doing for certain chords, you'd need a lot of practice and mastery before you can do that on a steel-string without half your finger skin getting peeled off. Guy's a hell of an arranger too: he played Moonlight Sonata from 1st through 3rd movements ON A STEEL-STRING GUITAR! That piece is hard enough to play (especially the 3rd movement) on classical guitar but this madlad plays it brilliantly on a steel-string. I'm not saying he's the best, there are better players out there (eg. Tommy Emmanuel, Alexandr Misko, etc) but he is nonetheless a brilliant guitar player.
