I haven’t seen any nests, but I was privileged to get to see a Broad-tailed Hummingbird visit our grandmothers feeder when visiting our grandparents in Idaho this last spring. Was very happy to see it with her before she passed from cancer this summer. Other than that I got to see a Ruby-throated feeding from some flowers about a month ago while birding at a wildlife reserve. Truly some beautiful and tough little birds.

Unfortunately I don't live on a continent with hummingbirds, so I've never seen them live. I find them so adorable!

Beautiful birds, thank you for all your interesting videos. The other day I saw four Ruby-throated in the Botanical Garden they had nested there earlier this summer. They are the only hummingbirds species we have in Montreal.

G’day. Separately from hummingbirds, do you have any presentations that discusses rose breasted grosbeak beaks? They used to be one of my Mom’s favorites. And, for years we’re nesting along Michigan’s Au Sable River. The last 4-6 years, I haven’t heard or seen any. Are there any mixtures for bird feeders that attract them? Thank you. Hello! I haven't made any videos on any of the grosbeaks, though that's a good idea and I added it to my list. As for seed mix, they like black oil and striped sunflower seeds, safflower seeds and peanuts. They also like suet. If you have a wild bird feed store near you, I bet they have a mixture that includes most or all of those.
