I thought this series was supposed to be Karl going through time trying to fix the SMP? This seems like it isn't? This looks like it's just historical games and not going through time fixing mistakes?

Its mainly karls story throught the inbeetwin with the main story on the stream being filled with cool easter egg and a tiny bit of lore like the egg

well,, you really have to look into it. and it's not really about fixing mistakes! just him giving background, glimpses of the future, or just general world building!

the place with clones of karl makes sense. if you go into the past or future and go back to the present, you duplicate yourself. you are still in that past timeline, the past of that past timeline. which duplicates you, even if you leave without a trace. that's whats scary about traveling in time. the future timeline though, is different. if you go to the future timeline, a few years in front of the present, you've duplicated yourself. it all depends on the parallel roads of time that intersect on a few parts of the road and split off on others. (never watched tales of the smp never caught up on it)

Basically, karl is a time traveler. And all of these tales happened either in the past or future. Each of the episode are different and are not continous. You might want to watch each episode since they have different stories. You can watch them in karls channel
