Hello again everyone, me again, reminiscing AGAIN! Listening to this prompted me to dig out and play my treasured original copies of the Shads first two albums. If you look at the cover photo on the first album, The Shadows, you will see that Bruce is wearing a snazzy (?) jumper with a cord fastening n featuring reindeer. As a young lad I was so taken with this garment that my mum, bless her, copied it as best she could and knitted me my very own version of the jumper. This was my pride n joy until I became a "cool" 1960's teenager then it was abandoned in favour of more trendy wear. How I now wish that I had kept it.

This is one of my all time favourites - it's not heard too often, which is a shame. You've even managed to replicate the original tone perfectly. An excellent cover version.

Hi friend I’ve been following your uploads. I have notice you’ve improved in the sounding so much with use of tone notes raptor it’s a fantastic unit keep up

A nice reminder of a great but rarely played track. I have to agree with Phil that I'm not keen on the BT. I've always preferred Gary Taylor's versions that use 'real' instruments :-)

An underrated tune. Your guitar sounds great but the backing sounds MIDI. It's often hard to find the perfect tracks. Take care Dave
@SteveReynoldsGuitarist4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Dave yes agree its not the best backing track. I do have the better one but thought id give this a try anyway
@stewartsnape12314 жыл бұрын
Good job , the original backing would have been great, it had a great snare drum bit at the beginning and part way through
@SteveReynoldsGuitarist4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Stewart yes its not the best backing track unfortunately the drums are a bit mechanical.
