Sea of Rage is so epic. I get teary-eyed every single time I listen to it remembering my first ever full Tales playthrough. Tales of Legendia is the best game ever made.

Destiny 2's final boss theme has an interesting sound. If I remember correctly, it was the first Tales game for 5th gen consoles and Sakuraba's music sounds like it's in the middle of transition from the PSX to PS2. Like it's somewhere in between Star Ocean 2/Eternia's sound and Symphonia.

While I don't like a lot of them, I do appreciate Abyss for being memorable as all hell. A lot of the other ones sound like generic boss themes. Not necessarily "final boss" type stuff. Xillia and Xillia 2 are pretty good though.

In terms of how good the final bosses were, I'd say my favorites are the ones from Abyss, Symphonia and Vesperia, who are incidentally my three favorite games in the franchise. As for my least favorite, it'd have to be either Hearts R and Zestira, who are (also) incidentally my least favorite games in the franchise. I'm sensing a pattern here...

@@deborabarreto8355 hm Symphonia 2, because it has a good beat, Tales of the Abyss, because it has the Leitmotiv in it, so it not just sounds good but has the connection to the story, Lambdas is ok, not really special but somehow i remember it, Xillia 2 has also a really good one, again with the Leitmotiv of the game inside it.....guess thats all
