Wow. What a fun and informative stream. But you guys kept saying Crossgen was a sinking ship but didn't actually say what made it so obvious from the beginning. Other than that, it was great to see everyone. Thanks, Andy!

Chuck Dixon is a gosh darn legend. I still got my copy of Gordon's Law.

Waid said either in wizard or that weekly comic book news paper that when he had his first meeting with Alessi he could tell Alessi was one of the good guys. He also said Alessi owned erol Flynn's fencing sword or something like that

Loved this. I was so broke in college I couldn’t buy all the comics I wanted. I dropped Marvel, dropped DC but absolutely had to keep in my pull box: Sojourn, Scion, Ruse, Way of the Rat, the Path and El Cazador!

While I enjoyed many of the sigil-bearer titles (I grabbed Scion 1 right of the stands) I will heartily agree that the books that were closer to being pure-genre books were more enjoyable. I still pine for the days when the company was giving us that kind of pulp-adventure line-up. And it's good to hear that you guys saw some royalties from the recent Sigil Omnibus. I just hope marvel gets around to collecting the rest of the titles soon.

This was a very fun stream. I was a big fan of a lot of Crossgen's books, and it is always great to hear stories about the company.

I really enjoyed "RUSE". I thought that it was a really cool Sherlock Holmes style story.

I have almost everything Crossgen in trades or floppies and most of it still to be read. Nice to know this story.

I've a full short box of Crossgen books. I loved the Fantasy focus of many of the books. And they looked amazing, super vibrant colors. I wish the writers who came in after the initial books (Dixon, Waid and Marz) had been there from the beginning. I never liked The First, and wasnt a fan of that writer (Barbara something?). So i think they couldve captured a bigger initial audience if they had better writers from the jump. But Ifelt the pain when they expanded too fast, had a hard time keeping up with so many books. Then they folded before paying off the longer running storylines, which was a shame.

Marz was there at the beginning. He wrote 2 of the 4 initial books. Scion (a favorite of mine) and Mystic.
