Really a very interesting Fan Production, better then alot of professionell movies at the last years. They can learn about your movie and should better go back to the roots without ugly and disgusting Vampire masks and Silicon parts of cutted Arms and legs, also not to much overacting computer special effects. Its amazing the horror atmosphere in back and white, where the horror is in your mind, its more horror what you dont see, what you can imagine in your fantasy, not like the newest Dracula movies where you can See everything so very exactly and there is for everything an explaination. It reminds me to Bela Lugosis Dracula 1931, its the same style and Dracula alias Bela Lugosi was an amazing, evil, educated, charming, Charism Gentleman Vampire. My compliment to this unexpected good Dracula Fan Production, what is very professionell made, for me its not really a Fan Production, its a super movie about Dracula topic. Pls more. Thanks alot for uploading, i really enjoy this good movie. Best regards from Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹, Europe Michael 🧛♀️

I am a little over a half hour into this movie, and it is truly a delight. The homage to the early sound horror movies is so clear. There is a sense of humor in it that does not undermine the horror. I thoroughly love how Dracula in this is neither the very inhuman demonic monster of both Murnau's and Herzog's Nosferatu films, nor the perhaps a bit too human Draculas of Bela Lugosi and the Hammer films (I love all of these films, by the way), but rather creates a brilliant balance. (Helped both by the actor's gift for bestial facial expressions and the wonderful contacts that give him equally bestial eyes). The actor playing the werewolf also captures Lon Chaney Jr's tortured werewolf soul beautifully. And Madame Dr. Frankenstein seems firmer and more resolute in her determination than her male ancestors. All quite marvelous.... Now to finish this lovely independent feature. Thank you for this film!
@wolfil80193 жыл бұрын
Having now finished the film, I can say that I enjoyed most of it thoroughly. My only, very minor complaint is that the scene where the priests were talking to the local men who were to help them in fighting the vampire went on a bit too long ... especially since they really did nothing (except, I believe, one of the men getting killed by the werewolf) after that. Other than that, this was a lovely, fun bit of old-time horror, well worth the time I spent. And it seems that those involved in making it enjoyed it as well.

Obviously the work of dedicated horror film fans--a werewolf named Creighton, a priest named Sandor, ''a great big man with a hairy coat on, and he walked like THIS,'' and filmed in black and white, even, Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman Meets Dracula. ''The End...OR IS IT,'' of course it can't be. This DEMANDS sequels. Wolf's bane is misspelled in the production company's name, but I guess we can forgive that.
@monsterguyd29425 жыл бұрын

The heavy American accents are a bit off-putting (but you do get used to them) and the acting somewhat wooden in places. Men did not wear belts on their pants during the Victorian era. Suspenders or braces, not belts and I don't think single pocket shirts with white sweat-shirts beneath them were around back then either. Neither were the modern styled casual suits and ties that a couple of characters were wearing. Some characters were definitely more authentically costumed than others. But hey! I appreciate it's a low budget and overall I think you've done a marvellous job. I thought the CGI/Special FX/makeup were pretty cool, certainly adequate and am glad that the producers didn't go overboard on the blood and gore. Sorry, I don't mean to be picky, I mean well. Thanks Wolfbain Productions. I will be looking forward to the next one.

This needs better pacing. It is way to tedious and has to little suspense. It needs more scenes of the monsters stalking, killing etc. I get the old films this is a homage to were dialoge heavy to, but they had better actors to make the long talking parts work. I won’t harp on the acting to much, because I know this is low budget and Vincent Price-level actors cost a lot. But pacing is a issue you do have the means to fix. If the film needs a character to get from one place to another, it is not always necessary to show the whole process of them walking down the stairs or through the corridor or the forest. Just cut to them opening the door in the next scene. The sets, costumes and makeup were actually decent for low-budget standards, you just need to get rid of the unnecessary padding and it will be a fine serviceable movie. If you are just gonna upload it on youtube, there shouldn’t be any running time demands you have to fulfill, so you could tighten the editing up and make it a short film where the story flows better.

once again you are incorrect! There have been great films that have featured other great actors! Christoper Lee, Frank Langella, Gary Oldman, and so on.

Bela Lugosi was great, but I disagree with your opinion. In my view, Christopher Lee was excellent as the count. Both Louis Jourdan and Jack Palance were very good as well.

@@stevencohen624 There are several great Zorros but there is ONLY 1 DRACULA. The rest are wanna-bes and cheap knock-offs.

I am sorry that you did not like my film. Could you please tell me why? Just note that this film was made for fans of 1930"s films That Universal made. And I did my best to see that the acting mimic that time area. Thank you Joe DeMuro Wolfbain film Productions.

Jeez . . . wooden acting, or what? . . . "Home Depot" door hinges and latches . . .Plastic 'screw top' caps on the bottles in "The Olde Inn".....A G.E. light bulb in Frankenstein's laboratory . . .."Creighton" is wearing Florsheim shoes and belt . . .Basement sewer plumbing with "Ace Hardware" hose clamps . . .

Well,what can be said about this trainwreck? My best advice is to have a few beers and laugh you a** off. As far as I can tell there was no direction, so no need to list anyone as a director The so called acting could have been better performed by mannequins. There really is no story line as scenes are just thrown together The saying that it was so bad it was good certainly comes to mind. I came to view this so called movie by sheer happenstance and it truly proves life can be cruel. I guess. My rating one a scale of 1 to 5 stars would be one fifth of one star with the point facing down.
