This season of "Tales of" I like the contrasting stories. What I mean is, Morgan's story is her origin as we already know her ending. With Barris we know her origin story but we don't know her ending.

Both united in their crusade to save their People from anihalation. Both recognize each other's talents and the other's similar goals. An alliance between these two beings in exchange for mutual support is only natural. Certainly a more healthy relationship than the Sidious-Vader one that's for sure!

Also remember, Tales of the Jedi was in a timeline order. Ahsoka birth, Dooku's story until he left, then back to Ahsoka and her story. I'm sure Tales of the Empire will also be in timeline order with the episodes interchanging Elsbeth and Offee.

I love that Tales of the Jedi had a pure "Good" character (Ahsoka) and a character that flipped sides (Dooku) and in Tales of the Empire we have the same, a pure "Bad" character (Morgan) and a character that flipped sides (Barriss). They really just put a spotlight on all these interesting characters.

Everyone is calling it irony but I wouldn't be shocked if Palpatine somehow planted the seed (because that's all he ever does apparently) for Anakin to expel her just so she'd be able and more willing to serve Vader. Which is not to say it couldn't have happened if she were still a Jedi, just that it was more likely if she were disillusioned with and imprisoned by them. I do not accept that situation was a coincidence, it's too perfect.

Barriss, Morgan, The Grand Inquisitor, Thrawn AND Vader!?!?! I can’t take that much awesomeness in one show! Also I knew that Barriss was going to be an inquisitor because she shares their ideals and the Emperor would not want to waste an asset.

Grievous in his Episode III: Revenge of the Sith look in The Clone Wars-style animation, the origins of the Inquisitors and Morgan Elsbeth, characters from Star Wars Rebels (Thrawn and The Grand Inquisitor) in the animation style of The Clone Wars, AND the fate of Barriss Offee a whole 11 years after last seeing her in the finale of Season 5 of The Clone Wars, being revealed with her becoming an Inquisitor serving Darth Vader?!? F-CK YEAH! I’m watching and downloading all of this when it hits Disney+ on May the 4th.

3:42-3:46 Seeing Marrok and the TOTJ Inquisitor in this shot really makes me hope that we get to know what their titles were in the Inquisitorius. This trailer was so f***ing crazy, and I really enjoyed seeing you two react to it. Just like with TOTJ, I love that this sequel series will also focus on two characters who are none other than Barriss Offee and Morgan Elsbeth. I am definitely planning to watch TOTE on May 4. LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE!!!

This is Season 2 of Tales of the Jedi. I wonder if Vader kills Barriss bc of Ashoka. Might be why she wasn’t in Kenobi or anywhere else. The irony.

@@goldsearcher7606 I don't see anything that says that specifically. It says that this is in the style of Tales of the Jedi, but there's no indication that a season 2 for that is still coming or anything, unless I'm just missing it. A lot of articles are saying that this is essentially what we're getting instead of Jedi season 2, which the logo transition from Jedi to Empire seems to imply. But that could be people making an assumption.

Now all we need is Disney to let Lucasfilm Animation make Star Wars: Tales Of The Bounty Hunters so we can get that unaired arc of The Clone Wars w/ Cad Bane and Boba Fett to be official Star Wars canon and show finished animation of Boba Fett in his iconic green Mando armor in the animation style of The Clone Wars. We need that story made. Doing it in anthology series akin to Tales of the Jedi and Tales of the Empire is the best way to do it.

i've long wondered what became of barriss offee? did the clones execute her in her jail cell or make an inquisitor out of her? here we finally have an answer! you can bet barriss is gonna know exactly who vader is. this is gonna be awesome!
