Some amazing Qui Gon and Dooku lore. This mixed with the plagius novel really paints a picture on why Dooku was able to fall and how he is sort of a tragic figure. Doing all the wrong things for the right reasons.

The Ahsoka episodes in this show (or two of them, at least) are kind of partial retellings of bits from the Ahsoka novel by E.K. Johnston, which was the only version of the Siege of Mandalore Arc we had until The Clone Wars was revived for its seventh and final season. While I love the 3 Ahsoka episodes, what really grabbed me in this mini series was Dooku's story. I never thought I'd get to see the moment his journey away from the light began, or the moment he committed to the dark. Truly shows that the road to hell is often paved with good intentions, since he genuinely wanted to better the Republic, at least to start with. We finally got to find out what happened to Yaddle, too, since she just disappeared between Episode 1 and 2.

2:06 This is the village where Plo Koon goes to find the little Ahsoka, to bring her to the jedi temple. That story is part of the 10 cancelled and still unfinished Clone Wars arcs. 7:58 Force sensitives can communicate with animals. That's how Ahsoka got out of that tiger situation.

I find it completely ironic that Dooku's hatred and distain for the corrupted senate caused him to work for Palpatine, The very corrupt ruler of the senate. Loved the Reaction Big Fan😍💙 P.S The Tiger from the first episode reminds me of the legendary Pokemon Raikou.⚡

Young Qui Gon was voiced by Micheál Richardson. Son of Liam Neeson! The latter of whom returned to voice Qui Gon in the last Dooku episode Ahsoka wasn’t even an adult at the end of clone wars. She was 16. There’s a whole book about Dooku’s backstory! Including his leaving the Order, but not what’s covered in these episodes. Dooku: Jedi Lost.

So yah, Ahsoka was born in 36 BBY. The events with Dooku and Qui-Gon in eps 2 and 3 specifically happened sometime before 41 BBY, because 41 BBY is when Qui-Gon takes Obi-wan as his padawan in the canon novel “Padawan.” So chronologically, It’s Eps 2-3, Ep 1, Ep 4, Eps 5-6. A bit out of order since it’s meant to be an anthology series. As far as Ahsoka’s age relating to the other projects, she’d be about 4 years old during 32 BBY living at the Jedi Temple during the events of The Phantom Menace (meaning she was actually there longer then Anakin!), she was 14 at the start of the Clone Wars, about 16 when she left the Order, and 17 when she faced Maul and the Clone Wars ended. So she served 2/3 years in the Clone Wars.

13:01 On the one hand, I admit I kind of understand Dooku's point of view. At the same time, compare him to Anakin's hesitancy to kill Dooku at the beginning of Revenge of The Sith. Sure, he did it, but he both hesitated and instantly regrated it.
