Jim Hensons early works feel like popular youtube animations and comedy yt vids of today. I feel like he would've been a famous online personality if he made his stuff in modern times.

docdave15 I'm glad her monster Sweetums (The Frog Prince) continued on in the Muppet productions. I loved him best along with Kermit.

Might've given Jerry Juhl a little more exposure as part of the Muppet crew (though, then again, maybe he wasn't the type to want that kind of exposure, I don't know).

Jim might’ve felt the same. It’s either in Jim Henson The Works or the Brian Jay Jones Biography, but somewhere it’s said that Tammy was his favorite Muppet before anything like Sesame Street or The Muppet Show happened.

Jim Henson performed Kermit the Frog (who was casted as a minstrel), King Goshposh, Charlie the Ogre, and the voice of Grunch. Jerry Juhl performed Taminella Grinderfall. I can't say about who performed Princess Gwendolinda, the Prime Minister, or the Palace Guard.

7:38 Grinderfall says "Scooby Doo". Scooby Doo was created in 1969. This was filmed in 1962.

7:40 Wait, what? Her chant here ends with "Scooby-Doo" and this was made in 1962? That's seven years before the first Scooby show aired. I always heard the name was inspired by a Frank Sinatra lyric, but was that wrong? Was "Scooby-Doo" some kind of independent slang term in '62?

The term "Scooby Doo" was actually popularized at the time by the Frank Sinatra song "strangers in the night" as nonsense scat Frank came up with. Scooby Doos name also comes from the song.

I read originally Taminella was supposed to be the star of The Great Santa Claus Switch and it was about her kidnapping Santa so maybe this is where they got the idea
