Absolutely. I understand that they cannot show the entire world going directly Hell as the dead Rise on a tv show budget. But, sorry to say, even "Fear" showed little of what actually happened even in the USA. I'd like to see just how and why the authorities and the military so utterly failed to Contain the Outbreak at all-or did they? Plus, how did the Outbreak actually START?

@@NamenloserX28 it's following new characters in little short snippets, shows a bit of life before the outbreak, sounds like a person doing a psychological analysis on the walkers, etc etc. It's not just the original Rick group trying to survive for another season.

@@toby2k75 OMG Yes! i said the same thing a backstory on the ''soldier' would have been amazing to see.. maybe he didnt want to follow orders and kill innocent civilians so he decides to just stay in the tank but he got hungry and needed supplies and ends up getting bitten and goes back in the tank to stay safe/stop the bleeding .(sorry for the long reply) LOL..great minds think alike:)

About freaking time. I keep saying they should do a zombie shows from the perspective of the outbreak. Just tell different stories from different perspectives. It’ could go on forever, and feel fresh each time. Like 6 feet under. How the intro shows a dead person, and you see how they died… I know this isn’t exactly what I described.. but close enough LOL

Being this show was originally made out as if it would primarily have some backstories of certain main characters of the past, The best thing they could do to tie these stories into the main TWD Universe is have atleast a couple of stories have a new character crossing paths at some point with a past fan favorite before they met Rick (or whatever group) Even if just for the sake of a cameo and/or to add a "What if this person had of met Rick & Co instead of the other person if they hadn't of done so and so".... For instance, the episode's main character dying after saving the lives of, let's say....Tyrese & Sasha and their 2 friends right before they head into the woods and find the prison in the season 3 timeline. Alot of opportunities to fill in some backstory of show characters without the episodes being about them solely. Would be cool if their was a storyline involving Alpha saving, attacking, or just meeting an old fan favorite, but someone that was not around anymore when the Whisperers arc came about. They will have nearly 10yrs of time to play with here, anything is possible! Anybody remember that guy needing a ride in season 4 that Daryl (or maybe Rick) ignored and he was a goner on their ride back and stopped to take his tent/backpack? Stuff like that could always be tied in, from the other POV though. Hopefully they do something of some sorts to throw some nods to the fans but if so, Im sure they'll wait until the final episode to get hype for a season 2. Hell, wouldn't mind seeing Abraham rolling up on the humvee and offering a ride to someone, showing the silhouettes of Rosita's hat and Eugene's Mullet in the shadows of the truck cabin😆....Seriously tho This could have elements similar to "Better Call Saul" with TWD being like "Breaking Bad" in comparison, even if in a subtle way and only as side storylines or things at the end of some episodes to make them more memorable and have them be part of a larger story.
