So if you ever played Graces then you would know about beating the EX Dungeon boss and you being able to get a harder version of the final boss. Same in this game. Beat the Zombie Dragon and Heldalf will get an upgrade.
His upgrade is basically him being resistant to everything so you have to have an E-Union of 7 stacks to stun him at least.

I figured it out eventually. I had an E-Union of 10, I cut back on a few and managed to get the 7 with Rose Win elemental and spammed Dream Slasher.

Sadly you need to beat dis angry kitty on Hard mode+ for achievement (on hard hes lvl 188 if i remember correctly)
