Sadly, probably not going to happen... its all about Dragons. Its like how they created Void Elves to take over shadow lore... despite having Shadow Priests. Like they bought back the Original Shadow Priest from lore back from the dead, and stuck her in the corner of the class hall to rot. Or despite having Warlocks... they created Demon Hunters to be the focus of demon lore. They have a real hard time thematically tying other classes or races to the events going around except the "main" elements of the expansion.

I think the same, but unfortunally (for u shamans) I feel like Evokers are the super-shamans, which control the power of the elementals anyway and doesn't even seem to depend on the mood of some elemental lords AND got wings on top xD Soo yeah.. I think Evokers will get the spotlight, but we might see shamans later. I wish we see at least a mention of Thrall acting in substitute for the black dragon aspect in cata. I'm a rogue but yeah.. shamans should get some lore love now

I just hit lvl 70. Usually I always hated leveling because it felt so forced and rushed and stressful. But this expansion leveling was so fun, exploration driven, and laid back and I ABSOLUTELY loved it!! And well, I did use an addon to get the glyph locations, but even that was enjoyable for me ^_^

Just hit 65 and loving the content so far. Very good balance between questing, flying and professions which keeps everything fresh. Gonna park this main before going to the next zone and bring in some gathering alts to have a real nose around before leaving the Waking Shores. I ended up with Blood DK, Enhance Shaman, Mistweaver Monk, and Fire mage! So cool to see someone else who uses the same alt decision making process that I do! Enjoy the Dragon Isles!

Dragonriding is such a great addition to the game because flying made ground mounts so slow. The fact that they built the world around this new mechanic is even better! Honestly flying so fast makes me want to do things like quest, world quest, and explore which were bottom of the list before.

10.1 - We're going underground to shake out some ghosts from the earth that prevent both Wrathion and Ebyssian from become the black aspect. Odyn is a fight in the raid halfway through, but only as a side show because he was there too, wanted to seize some power for his own and was being a jackass about it. He won't die at the end, just plants the seeds for next xpac. 10.2 - Raid is going to be an elemental conflux. The second-to-last fight will be a council fight with the big 3 all at once, at the end of which Eranikus will eat the other two. Then empowered Eranikus will be the actual final boss. 10.3 - The weakened earthen bonds from 10.1 lets some old god corruption leak out. Galakrond comes back and we use a dues ex machina from Ysera to take him out, sending her right back to the shadowlands and a very irate Malfurion. 10.4 - All the ruckus has broken the prison of the old god directly underneath the Dragonlands. A'chuum, old god of a thousand noses, breaks free and spreads evil and nasal congestion across the world (of warcraft). 10.5 - Somehow the Jailor was behind this all and we fight the Jailor 2.0 - electric boogaloo!

Would be really cool if they added the ability to reset the location of the dragon riding icons so that you can do through the locations and do speed runs. Maybe even add a randomizer so you can do runs where their positions are different/swapped up. Would be really cool and a create way to add some fun content.

I reckon we'll end up fighting Nozdormu's infinite evil form as a final boss. Finishing off the expansion with the infinite flight invading, which bingo bango bongo means old gods. Perhaps with Nozdormu doing the same thing deathwing did to help the earth, but turning him into murizond.

I did all of the dragon glyphs in Waking Shores without any help except for the in game achievement progress. And plan to do so with the other areas too. So I agree with Tali that doing it without a guide first is recommended. It is easy enough that there is no need for a guide in my opinion, and learning to explore things was fun. All of the glyphs are named in the achievements after the area where they are, so you just have to locate that on the in-game map and fly around until you hear your dragon roar with the text that there is a glyph nearby.

My first impressions of the Dragon Isles have been great. The Waking Shores have a nice "Nagrand meets Jade Forest"- vibe, and I REALLY enjoy Dragonriding. I'm starting with my blood elf paladin. It's been my main for years, and I still enjoy it, despite everyone saying the class got dicked this expansion.

I'm coming back to wow from 9.0, i couldnt even finish the rivendreth zone story. I went and got all the addons, was ready to grind out dragonriding, but now listening to your comment about the enjoyment of tracking down the glyphs and how its a once per account activity, I think I'll do the same and find them on my own. Thank Tali, its definitely feeling like the good ole days of wow!

got similar logic - pick alts for different armor types. As for classes i picked frost DK as main, Ele shammy for ranged (Affliction sits on my mind though) and disc priest for heal as well. No bigger plans for evoker - doing just the opening zoone for story and will probably forgotten after that

A big draw of the hunter class is it's always had a lot of great flavorful abilities that really made it stand out and have a ton of class identity. The new class and race both being designed in tandem really bakes the flavor deeper into the character making it a similar immersive feel. Also, maybe,they FEEL similar too.

Blood is actually very strong right now, they're good in M+ and amazing in raids. Plus with the addition of shattering bone and tombstone you do some good aoe Burst dmg, and then you can also get bonestorm, abomination limb, and empowered rune weapon. You won't be as resource starved as you were in the past.

Currently trying to play Dragonflight and the new Pokemon at the same time. What they both share that I have fallen in love with is exploration. There's so many moments where I say: "Hey, that's a big mountain... Special things are usually at the top. Can I get there? I CAN?! Look, a special thing!" And that goes for every other nook and cranny. Dragonriding is so much fun and when my vigor is all spent I get to breath and hang around on the ground happily for awhile before taking again to the skies. Love this opening bit so much.

For dragon riding, I have been going zone to zone, doing the story quests and side quests and glyphs while there and once I finish everything to I can find without help, THAN I jump to wowhead for the locations I missed. So far only had to look up 4 and I got 1 more zone to do

I think 10.2 will be a combo raid patch similar to what Firelands and its sister water raid were supposed to be in Cataclysm. 10.3 will either be Galakrond OR a certain Grimtotem making her way back into the story

Fire & Ice is such a big thing in fantasy lore in general that I could see 10.2 being a Fire & Ice patch, with those two finishing the job of getting Galakrond out of the ice. We stop them but it's too late and 10.3 is Galakrond. That would be my speculation purely based on your speculation.

My hunter, BM, can solo literally any content I want/need to, so I plow through the story, reading quests, discovering every location, every reputation...she grinds it first. My Hunter paves the road so that my alts can drive...or in this case ignore the road entirely and just fly everywhere lol

I feel like they are going to lump the incarnates in the same patch and Irdikrond is the last boss. The next patch possibly involves Odin and the titan forces somehow. The last major patch has the infinite dragonflight messing around big time and we fight Murozond again, and after that: Galakrond that has traversed time.

I honestly hope it's good, for WOW players. I would actually really dig the aspects saved for the last raid, with Galecron at the center of it all reborn. They could like the Lich King be problems for the players all the way up to the final raid. It's the formula of good villains that's missing from WOW. However if they do it one per patch that makes sense too, though more content would be good for WOW players with all their scaling back being soo detrimental in last few expansions.

When Medivh died Karazhan sealed itself off, indicating it has some form of consciousness. So it's probably that Karazhan doesn't want the window fixed for some reason rather than that Khadgar is busy. Since Khadgar was only Medivhs apprentice, he never became the guardian and probably didn't inherit Karazhan. Karazhan is perhaps waiting for it's true masters return, even if it may never come.
