If he kills, it's usually because his universe is broken. It's also the reason Batman is even fun to watch, if he could kill, he would just do it.. that's why it's so odd here..

R'as al Ghul was created by Denny Moore and Neal Adams, in the 70's. You want to know how the character should look, speak, and behave, that's where you go. All subsequent interations of the character have been--unfortunate, but honorable mention for Batman: The Animated Series.

@@RedBop377 Well. Racist. For one thing. R'as wasn't defined as a villain because of his ethnicity, but because of his actions. He believed he was right to do what he did. He wasn't some snickering mustache twirling stock villain, and Talia sure as fuck never wore a veil. It's racist. But more to the point, lame storytelling and characterization, and the characters have superpowers they don't need. Only they do, because otherwise they'd be too boring for words. Unlike the originals. Who only needed to be themselves. That's all you're getting, and it's more than you deserved.

Talia is basically Batman's own version of Lois Lane. She is both top 1 love interest and one of the villains of Batman. She was an antagonist when she was introduced to DC but after she gave birth to Damian, she was changed to a superhero and helped Bruce.

This is awful. Absolutely worthless. Batman doesn't kill. Talia is always at least a bit in love with him. Here she doesn't even have the capacity to love. Terrible voice acting, but with dialogue like this, can't blame the actors. And honestly, to have Batman lose so many fights and still survive and win--it's plot armor. He wins because he's Batman, he makes the money for his soulless corporate overlords. This is far far below the level of the original comics from O'Neill and Adams, featuring R'as and Talia. Also oddly racist. Oh well.
