Much respect Rockness for giving an unbiased opinion on this matter. Hiphop has so many levels that it don't need this kinda attention. Sidebar: I wanted to BIGGUP you and the ENTIRE BCC for such a dope show back in the 90s in Staten Island Parkhill Day!! That day was EPIC and its actually on KZbin so its historic. Peace ✌️

Take them rhymes back to the factory." - BIG He ain't say nothing about The Roots. That was clearly a Different Strokes reference linking the fact that we never see the bully on camera and BIG's actions being unseen.

I know the static between Ye and Talib was the fuse..(cause Ye said he never liked Talib's rap style anyway).. . which brought Cons into play.. but Ye's recent questionable antics.. have caused Talib to speak against him..and Cons to defend... they both cool.. and I went to school w/Cons.. so I feel him on the loyalty aspect.. but they don't need to beef

Rock, you touched on it right at the end, but I I think it really needs to be highlighted that these are grown men acting like they are 15-year-olds with no control of their emotions. Furthermore, the both legends and spoiling the legacy for some really small petty stuff. I’ve been a fan to lips and smooth and I wrote pretty much the same thing on his IG. He basically told me to shove it in a tone like I had just told him to shut up & dance. That ain’t it. He’s on here dissing people who got love for him. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars of hard earned money to try to put money in his pocket. I just wish these men could act like men and see that in his 50th year with all the spotlight, that this is child’s play. Theres gotta be a better way for men to talk in the year 2023 like men. Thanks for doing this video. Love the new Boot Camp music.

To add on: if someone you know or rock with (no pun intended), is going berserk in public, it’s your obligation to stop them, because when it all goes down, you’ll be obligated to support them due to your affiliation with them, so why accept the consequences for something you initially don’t agree with, especially if those said consequences could amount to your life or freedom?

I’m curious, what response did you get from Kweli after you sent this video to him? My guess is that it was not taken as the good hearted attempt to open a dialogue that you clearly intended. Kweli is not a reasonable person. He does not take any criticism of any kind, now matter how kindly and constructive it’s meant to be. He’s been doing this online for over a decade. Yeah, he loves it because he’s a narcissist who must have power and control over everything and everyone. He manipulates the language of a comment to read it how he wants to see it, interpret it, and then falsely accuse that commenter of (insert slur here, take your pick although it’s usually just 2, Nazi and WS) and the color of your skin is of no consequence. He calls Jewish people Nazi, he calls black people WS, then also claims that black people can’t be racist. He’s not doing anything in the least bit noble with his IG, he uses it as a weapon to feed his narcissism. If you aren’t really reading ALL the comments then you don’t get the entire picture. He deserves to be banned from all social media. When a man like this has beef with damn near everyone, except the people who give him clout (Chappell), it’s time to ask who is the actual problem. This man will drain you and toss you out when you are no longer useful. I’ve been studying his behavior for over a year after he called me racist for my disagreement with his assessment of my white friend’s character, claiming that he was a sexual predator, not a racist or anything else like it. He is not reasonable, like I said. Actually, he’s an a$$hole and everyone knows it, repeats it, and avoids him like the plague. In the interest of what appears to be your very kind heart, I think you should avoid him too.
