Taliban claim to have taken Panjshir Valley - BBC News

The Taliban have declared victory over the province of Panjshir northeast of the capital Kabul, the final pocket of territory which has remained outside their rule.
The group posted footage online of their fighters raising their flag there on Monday.
Resistance fighters however said they were still present in "all strategic positions" and "continue to fight".
Their leader has called for a "national uprising" against the Taliban.

That's how this works, Pakistani is just a new word, they are all pashtuns, ethnically pashtun and they are all people of khorasan, the Pakistanis and the Afghans. The tajiks in panjshir are not the original khorasan people so they dont really want to be ruled by ethnic pashtuns. The Taliban are ethnically Pashtun but they dont care about different ethnicities they care if you are Afghan man and women then you are citizen of Afghanistan. The panjshir are like warmongers for no reason when there can be peace.

The resistance isn't defeated, they have retreated into the mountains. The Taliban had support from Pakistani drones or other airforce which they tried to use to wipe out the commanders and leaders of the NRF but failed.
