I actually can see Horde in Stormwind and vice versa. It could work with starting at Hated rep and work up to Neutral, so you will be able to be there without getting killed but no vendor npc interaction. It could be really useful for RPers

That would defeat the purpose of even having the game being fully cross faction, which would be to play with anyone or your friends in the opposite faction vastly boosting accessibility and the pool of people you have access to. especially for the huge number of comically unbalanced servers with literal dead factions on one side or the other. Would be weird and wildly inconvenient if it was “hey wait actually you need to do this rep grind first”. Imagine if that were applied to cross faction guilds. “Cross faction guilds exist now but no wait stop you need to do this rep grind first before you’re allowed to play with your friends” Not everything needs to be justified through gamification. It can be as simple as here’s a peace treaty ok cool that’s solved. would make sense after BFA Like as an alliance player I’ve basically helped restore the horde twice now so why exactly are these two factions not so much as even just engaging in limited trade. Even nations that hate each other know trade is mutually beneficial

I could see it like the Legion Dalaran Sewers where you could hire a bodyguard to keep you unflagged for FFA pvp; when visiting the other faction capital you get a special guard assigned to you that follows you around and keeps you out of trouble. Could be fun if there was a way for you to sneak away from them and get up to mischief, or have NPCs get angry at you and have the bodyguard need to do some crowd control to keep the peace.

@@peen2804 it won't turn into a Capital city for the other faction, you will be allowed to be there without guards killing you but still have the ocatinal stares and npc's talk behind your back and stuff like that, similar to the Death Knights when they first arrived, just without the rotten fruit...

It's interesting for me. I went from horde to alliance after the story with sylvanas went down under. (As most will agree) and after playing as alliance. There's just no way I Can work with any horde. I think if the 2 factions exist, they should always be divided. And for the love of,, can the horde just stay true to who they are? Characters without honor. Becauuuuse, they're whole story line is fucking everything up and then trying to make amends for it. It's old and dead. Played out. Hate horde at this point. Helping them keep themselves in check is a joke

@Evi Stalactites hold on tight to the cave roof and point down, and Stalagmites might eventually reach the top of the cave. That is how I remember the difference.

I LOVE that we'll just be able to fly into Aberrus! For a long time WoW was starting to feel... not so open world, at least once we were a couple patches into an expansion and getting to the new zones was all loading screens. If nothing else, I know I'm going to enjoy flying from zone to zone via Aberrus, just for a change of scenery.

I think the raid Abberus, will have a more castle nathria feeling. with spikes and oppulence and clean walls. dont really expect that dirt gonna be a big theme for the raid concidering it would be "indoors" in a more lab enviorment

I don't think being able to be in other faction cities is compleatly out of the table. It could be very cool to have a rep questline/grind that takes you from hated to "we tolerate you and you can chill here but some of the citizens might /spit at you if they could".

I second that. There will of course be some people who complain about every bit of content that is not Raid or M+ (including renown/reputation) but who cares. As long as such a rep is farmable in a way that's not too tedious I'm all for it.

Almost every detail of this patch was leaked privately to my guild weeks ago. I was skeptical, but vortex pinnacle was a deep cut and 100% on point. Anyways if you want one more prediction I would look for 10.1 around the end of may.

Stalactites grow down from the cave ceiling, while stalagmites grow up from the cave floor. It's easy to remember which is which: Stalactites have a "T" for top and stalagmites have a "G" for ground. I actually thought it was the opposite with the idea of a Stalagmite Might fall on your head but a Stalactite is tight to the ground. 🤷‍♂ Fyrakk is amazing in his visage form. He reminds me of Bill Nighy & I love it.

So the actual saying most kids learned was "Stalactites are 'TIGHT' to the ceiling and stalagmites 'MIGHT' have fallen down'. I think maybe you misheard, but yeah they often tell adults the bit about 'T' vs. 'G'... which helps very little as nobody will pay attention to the 'G' being in which word as they are so similar and both words have at least 1 'T'. I lived in an area of Nevada known for caves and lots of beautiful cave formations, so I hope that we see lots of stalactites, stalagmites, columns, curtains/cave bacon, straws, popcorn, shields... go visit the Lehman Caves in Nevada's Great Basin, especially if you have kids who know not to touch stuff, it's a gorgeous tour (especially the long one, but I think kids have to be at least 10 to go down those halls).

Stalactite hangs from the ceiling. Stalagmites are from the ground up. Easy way to remember: Stalactite has a "C" in it, ceiling is spelled with a C. And now you know and now you can teach your kiddo in the future... if you all ever visit a cave somewhere.

Stalactite is from the ceiling , minerals rich water slowly dripping creates a stalactite . Stalagmites are created from the ground up, water drips from the ceiling and slowly creating a pillar.

Honestly, the new dragon mount reminds me of a Warhammer dragon. The dragon mounts used by elf lords have slender bodies, long necks, long tails, and large wings. It will be perfect for my Thalassian elf characters.

Should work on those cuts. They should feel more natural. Beside that, i really want flying mounts that use the dragonflight engine that are not dragons. Cloud Serpents, Gryphons and Flying Beasts would feel sort of similar to how dragons do, maybe cloud serpents can have their unique style. (That being said gryphons and flying beasts should have their own unique style too imo) But imagine implementing dragonflight mechanic into a flying machine. That would be exciting. I would like to add, that inclusion of diffirent expansion dgs is always exciting but i would ve prefered if they stuck to a single theme. Vortex Pinnacle, by being a Cata DG, and Netharion s Legion DG are closer to the overall feeling of the DF but Underrot and Freehold couldnt be further. That being said, this is basicly me nitpicking. I am excited for 10.1. I didnt really play more than 5 weeks (untill the third week from the release of the 1st raid of DF). A combination of RL and DF not really capturing me was the reason but thia patch might bring me back.

The best way I've heard to remember the difference between stalagmites and stalactites was from a lady who study such things stalagmites are at the bottom because you might trip over them stalactites from the top because they make it tight as they grow down

i wish hunter's "core concept" to build their tier sets would be something about speed and agility, and basically something that let me think of someone constantly moving and shooting arrows, instead "giant head on one or more shoulders" that basically is restricting movement and sight and doesnt't give the "speed" idea...

I really wish they would make the glad mount for other players. That is the coolest mount I've ever seen. I'm just not good enough, and I don't want to pay for carries lol. They have no word about guilds becoming cross-realms, so yeah probably guilds are still realm restricted, if you want a cross-realm thing you need to create a community
