UnicornPotatoe I used to main Taliyah but I didn't play for a while. Now I suck ass again.. but Taliyah isn't bad. All the time I just miss opportunities and miss my skillshots (w+e combo) but if you can time well and know what you're doing, Taliyah is incredibly powerful. It's arguably worse to chase a taliyah than to chase a singed, because she can just shower the chasers in pointy rocks and deal ridiculous amounts of damage. There's enormous outplay potential with taliyah. Even when you're low, you can still do so much if you know what you're doing. The low cooldown on Q and the movement speed passives allow you to dart around and spam rocks on people for amazing poke, especially with thunderlord's. You can play support Taliyah, but it's the lowest winrate support right now I think. It's not played a lot, but it's not as bad as the statistics would have you believe. With the right build you can just spam slow their entire team, outplay them and still deal considerable damage for a support (just under brand, vel'koz). You can also play Taliyah top, it's not too bad. It's better than support, but it's almost never played in high ranked games. Taliyah does well against a lot of top laners though, in my experience. Watch out for Lux.

I've picked up Taliyah again and I gotta say I am loving her kit in the bot lane. I've been going eye of the watcher (every q rock you hit activates the passive so you have a nice source of income) into lucidity/rylais followed by Ludens and it's amazing! Now that Rylai's is cheaper, getting as a support is pretty viable and it adds immense value to Taliyah's q! If you can use your ult and W effectively, you can provide immense peel for your carry and you also deal huge damage! A level 1 entire Q rotation w/ Thunderlords pretty much half shots any ADC forcing their pot and possibly summs. Incredibly fun champion with great things to offer her team :)

Honestly, watching this just makes me ecstatic, its so great to think of a genuine earth mage joining the league. Of course we have malphite and you could even say taric, but, Taliyah would be the first real earth mage. As a tribute to Toph, Riot should create a skin based off of Toph and call the skin 'Blind Bandit Taliyah'. What would be even cooler is if riot could get permission to use the voice actor of Toph for the skin and make the skin look almost exactly like Toph (because it is a tribute skin) so Riot isn't sued over copyright issues.
