One of the best songs ever written and ever existed. We used to go to this place, called Ground Round, back in the 80s. The waiting staff and managers already knew our order, so our beer and wings were already on the table when they saw come in and #94 on the jukebox, It's My Life, was already playing due to us coming there. We loved this song, we heard it there, in our cars, in the clubs we visited and everywhere where we could listen to it. The 80s was the best era in music and this was and still is, one of the best songs ever written.

"Funny how I find myself in love with you". I miss Mark so much, what a sad loss. He was a genius. This song makes me cry, it is so strong. His voice is remarkable and unique. Every album of Talk Talk and his solo album is worth to posses and to listen to. It is music from another world. God bless you, Mark, whereever you are now.

The proof you need, to know if you're a talented and respected artist, is sometimes (if you're not Bowie or Prince etc ...) when people like me learn about your death by listening to your incredibly great songs. Talk talk lives are one of the greatest lives i have ever listened to. So i came here a lot of times. A smile on my face and ... now it's a bit sad of course, cause lookin at the coments, now i know you're not in this world anymore. But cheers, see you in 2 or 3 months. Good music and good musicians never die. I'll try to come with that smile again, to listen to your legacy to the world. Untill, well, someday i won't and join you wherever you are. Fair enough i guess.

Ok a couple things: 1. Very sad right now as I just learned Mark Hollis died today 2. What a great live extended version, Mark had a fantastic voice 3. Good camera work but not enough of the bass player, it's a great riff on the chorus 4. I used to crank the shit of of this song back in the 80's and it's still one of my favorites 5. It's my life......it never ends....Mark knows that now

I always liked this song! It was such a refreshing pop song about life! You knew it was a hit the second you heard it! Now I just read that the lead singer passed away. From what, I don’t know yet but suddenly I’m sad because of this news. It doesn’t affect the song in any way. The music is still magical but I’m saddened obviously! RIP
