Malaysia do not owned Sabsh and Sarawak. Malaysia exist when Sabahan volunteerily agreed to join Malaya and Sarawak to form Malaysia. There is no Malaysia if Sabah and Sarawak did not agree to the formation. And the agreement was through a referendum organized by the United Nation. Malaysia did not fired a single shot to make Sabah be part of Malaysia. Sabah is free to leave if the people of Sabah want to. Singapore left because the people want to. For now, Sabah is happy to be part of Malaysia. If they are leaving, it must be they want to leave and not because of Philippines claim it for herself. Sabah prosper by being part of Malaysia. Mindanao suffer because Manila refuse to help them fully.

Just give Sabah peace. After getting independence on 31 August 1963 from the British, we Sabahan doesn't recognize any foreign power such as Philippines or sultanate sulu as the owner of Sabah. From 31August 1963 - 16 September 1963, Sabah is an independence nation. Sabah is rightly owned by Sabahan. Sabahan then choose to join Malaya, Singapore and Sarawak to formed Malaysia. The keyword here is choose. Sabahan choose as an independent nation to be part of the newly formed Malaysia.

Yeah, your right. but unfortunately we are not talking about the inhabitants of Sabah, but the land itself. The Land technically belongs to the Sultanate of Sulu, to whoever lives in Sabah right now, it's pain me to even say it, but I'm sorry you guy's whom been living in Sabah for almost your entire lives aren't what the Sultanate is requesting for. They want their land. In sense you are just perceived to be people living in a land you they don't owned. The British handing out Sabah is no good than mere Wives tales to the Mindanaon leaders.

Mere claiming. I am not Sabahan. Out of curiousity done some home work nothing suggesting this country ever owned by Sultan Sulu. Rather based on Rental Fee on one small islam was only valid between North Borneo Co., and Sulu rep but not the current governent. 🤔
