This review is spot on, I totally agree with you man. I felt the same. I felt there was a lot of “it’s scary’ hype going on yet when I watched it I didn’t find it all that scary. Solid movie not bad at all but not nearly as scary as I was hoping.

i bought the 4k in San Francisco, back in germany the movie didnt play at my panasonic 9004 UHD. thats a bummer.

Yea, not scary and didn’t live up to the better than “Hereditary” hype. Decent movie, but slightly underwhelming.

I hope A24 stays in the horror genre. Will make it very easy to not be tempted to waste my time watching another bad A24 movie. Don't remember the last time they did a movie I liked.
