We teach/use both Spanish and Mandarin in our homeschool as well. I never understood the "command" form when I took Spanish classes...but this phrase book sounds so similar to the way we've been using Spanish with our toddler! I just copy the commands that my husband tells him. This subscription box style is very intriguing. I think language learning is so important in life and in homeschool, so it's nice to see what resources are available. "Eres Mi Mama?" is one of our son's favorite books since he was a baby. Super interesting resource, thank you so much for sharing!

It's nice to see other families doing the same thing....I get a lot of strange looks when I say we're doing Spanish and...Mandarin? :)

I love your sense of humor! I've been looking for a good foreign language curriculum and I love the looks of this. I think my kids would too. I showed them this and they want to try it! They've been learning Spanish but we need something else to help teach it at this point.

:) I wasn't sure about this one at first, because it's set up so differently, but it works much better than the way we did it back in the dark ages!

Talking in phrases, the way that babies learn a language, sounds like a good way of learning Spanish.

If you don't mind sounding like a toddler for a bit (which is where we still are), it actually works pretty well...sticks better, too. :)

Thanks for doing this review. Looks like a very effective way to learn how to speak a different language.
