I will be labeled a heretic, but rebels is the BEST sw animated series and the fifth best sw property/movie/series/etc. I agree on the stylization. At first it really bugged me, but by the middle of season two I actually preferred it. The space battles are CRAZY good.

I agree, I think parts of clone wars are better, but as a whole, Rebels is a better offering.

This review is just spot on I love my Ghost crew. I have the newer versions but not the older. I need a blind Kanan. And Old Rex. Maybe a badguy besides troopers. Sabine always fell on my shelf daily, then I found a sweet spot for her to stand and hasn't fell since, but now I'm scared to move her. Rebels is a must watch for all Star Wars fans.. Great job on video Mike.

I love Star Wars Rebels it's a Great Show I don't know why people hating Rebels for me I like it I enjoy Watching Rebels Kanan Jarrus is my favourite Character from the Show can't wait to Buy Zeb and Chopper I already Have Kanan Ezra Sabine And Hera I'm gonna buy the Photo Real Kanan and Sabine I'm good with the Original Release Hera and then I'm gonna sell my Original Release Kanan

Rebels has been one of my favorite Star Wars properties in recent times and as far s Black Series goes, Prequel, Mandalorian and Rebels figures are the ones I collect all of... everything else I choose and pick. Great video sir.

I started collecting after the original figures came out. I didn't want to get them at first. I remember Ahsoka was like $70 in the second market. I had only gotten Sabine cause I just wanted to get every mandalorian figure. But when they announced the entire crew in the galaxy pack. I immediately ordered the whole crew. Now the photo real Sabine is with the ghost crew and the other one has its helmet on with my mandalorian figures. So happy it worked out well 😊

Hello Mike another great video. I also love the Rebels series, I found it just after season 1 ended. I watched the reruns of season 1 and was hooked from that point on watched season 2,3,4 as released. I only had Chopper when they rereleased the Rebels Galaxy packaging I picked up the rest. I'm so glad they rereleased the figures Herra and Sabeen prices were outrageous. And of course finally released Zeb. I also would love to see them do Sabeen 3rd or 4th season looks, Cainin Jarous after he was blinded by Maul, Ezra Bridger 3rd or 4th season look, and Chopper with his Imperial paint job would be fun as hell. And I'd love for them to release Chopper's droid friend B-1 I think. He'd be great for Rebels and Clone Wars. Mike I'm sorry to hear about your brother's passing even if it was 2 years ago. Love Rebels. Trying to gear my fam up for a full re-watch, as it’s something we all enjoyed together when it originally aired. The Last Padawan comic series from Marvel is a great add-on; at only twelve issues it’s worth picking up a collected edition for any Rebels fans out there who wants a little bit more time with these characters!

Great video. I love Rebels. I only watched it for the first time a few years ago after the Mandalorian came out; which is what brought me back to Star Wars after so many years. I'm a late 80's kid so I was a SW fan prior to the prequels but I was still a kid in '99 so I loved TPM, and all the other prequels. In fact I am a lot like you as I've heard you say you just simply love Star Wars, and that's me too. I love it all. Some is better than others, but I just love Star Wars. That being said; when ranking SW content I usually place the OT on an "unassailable pedestal", meaning I treat it as a sort of holy origin story that nothing else can be compared too. But Rebels.. man Rebels might just be my favorite Star Wars movie, that isn't a movie. The themes, the concepts, the nostalgia, the characters and their stories. It's so moving. Such a great story. Cannot wait to find out what happened to Thrawn and Ezra in the next season, er I mean the Ahsoka show. I would also love to see a new Sabine and Ezra for their later rebels appearances but I think it's more likely we will get new versions of them to match their appearance in Ahsoka? Hopefully?

Ah Rebels. I love a ragtag/motley group of persons who decide to come together as a team and eventually become a family. This element to me is one that makes Sear Wars great. I didn’t quite get their direction at first but I was on the show from jump. The more cartoony and simple stories were referencing after Clone Wars had got so heavy/deep. I love being thrown into a story with these various characters and having to get to know them. It’s funny Chopper annoyed you at first. For me it was Zeb. But I suspect the reasons are similar as they both were somewhat unlikeable at first. But as Zeb interacted more with Kallus I began to really like that character. I’m still a bit torn on the action figure. It’s part awesome and part want to toss the thing. I did see his resemblance to Ralph McQuarrie’s art but funny enough didn’t see the Chopper nods at first. Funny. To me Rebels is when Dave Filoni told his Star Wars story. Sure he was there from go as he and George created Ahsoka. But Rebels seemed like Filoni took his lessons of working with George and story and gave it a whirl. All of these characters are awesome. It really does become more and more epic as the seasons progress. I am besides myself excited for live action Rebels. Teases in Rogue One were nice. Seeing older Sabine, ornerier Chopper, Ahsoka, and hopefully more teased at end of Rebels is going to be as awesome as seeing Luke, Han, and Leia in new stories.

My first collection of my black series. Took me sometime to find them all and add along with thrawn and obi wan along. Just need an old maul. Yup... All the ladies have problem standing due to tiny feet so I use sticky pad to hold them.

Rebels is PURE ART!! I absolutely love Rebels and I encourage everyone to not use the word cartoon because of all the stigma that comes with the word. It’s fabulous CGI and most importantly, it is some of the best script of all Star Wars. I really want them to make more Black Series Rebels figures. Agent Kallus is actually my #1 desired figure of all Black Series. And we really need a Jedi Temple Guard, AP-5, Governor Pryce, Seventh Sister, Azmorgan, Rukh, Saw, Vizago, Ryder Azadi

I think the show is great. I love some reallu star wars stuff, such as heroism as group, no only jedi characters are important, classic empire troopers… it was was easy to get attached to it

Completing my Rebels Ghost crew was definitely a milestone in my Black Series figure collecting. Except for Chopper and Grand Admiral Thrawn, all of my Rebels figures are the reissues with upgraded face prints. I will say, though, what really bugs me is that no effort was made to give Sabine's hair the appearance of being a textured blend of two different colors; instead the purple color paint is applied as a solid blob to the top of her head, giving the visual impression that the character is wearing a purple skull cap over her hair. If I could choose two additional characters from the show for Hasbro to release as BS figures, they would be Ruk (the Nohgri assassin/hunter employed by Thrawn) and the large Lothal wolf who guides and mystically bonds with Ezra. As for the show itself, it contained some really fantastic and poignant Star Wars storytelling once it got past some of the filler episodes from season one. My only complaint would be those silly rotating lightsaber blades being used by the Imperial Inquisitors to effect flight in the manner of a helicopter. Eventually seeing both Thrawn and Ezra in live action - - presumably during the Ahsoka show - - is what I am most excited about regarding future Star Wars media.
