6 hours away isn’t long for America… Not entirely false. I’ve driven from Philadelphia PA to Savannah GA and back for vacation twice in the past decade. Americans love their road trips.

I'm always hearing that driving for that many hours isn't as big a deal for Americans as it would be over here in the UK (or mainland Europe for that case). So it's feasible that someone had Coil and drove that far to ditch it.

Yeah, a six hour drive generally is seen as not too big a deal in the States. Sure, you'll probably need to bring along snacks, but it's doable.
