I feel like you gave it a fair chance and you felt it wasn’t for you. As an FFXIV player, I can respect that choice and short as it was, I loved seeing you play. Unfortunately, you decided to drop it and it’s fine. Don’t listen to the haters and stay positive! That being said, I do feel that the majority of your recent viewers are those who were in it to see you play FFXIV, so it is also fair from their side to no longer view your channel I am sure that you gave this a thought, so don’t get embittered by it. Stay awesome!

Hey, I loved your FF content even when you were critical, and I have found value in your post mortem of quitting. If you love this game, and you want to see it succeed, you should want to know when it loses some people why that happens. I really do believe that the broader community would agree with that statement, and you would see more comments like this if so many of them were not on break due to it being the slow part of the expansion cycle.

I feel like the negativity you received was not well-deserved. I know I'm parroting what other say (while being 3 weeks late) but I'm always of the opinion that if you can no longer find love/enjoyment in a game like this, then that is your right to leave. I've seen my fair share of many different folks that range from sweet to the textbook devils within the community, so I wholeheartedly understand on your sentiments. Its not worth reasoning with folks who decided to think you a 'traitor' or clout-chaser or someone who's wrong for leaving a game just because you can't enjoy it anymore. I may not be a streamer, but I find that streamers have it harder as a double-edge sword when you start streaming mmos in a general sense (especially ones with big communities) or popular mobile games with a big fanbase. The fame and clout they carry can fold twice with the amount you lose the minute you decide to move onto something else. With all that said, I wish you well on your endeavours, Genjigear. It was fun watching your ff14 vids, so have a good holiday 😁

Don't listen to the haters man, you played enough , you've read everything that needed to be read. Although there's a cinematic or two just at the point you stopped and i guess some people may be pissed cuz you didn't watch it. That's kinda where shadowbringers gets interesting for a lot of people. Anyways you should play the games you wanna play and enjoy.

07:30, the FF14 community is one of the worst. And I'll try to explain why. I dislike people who are passive-aggressive and can't accept criticism, behaving like divas... It might be because, in recent years, more and more players come from tcommunity, who are not "mentally strong" and they get upset if you don't accept certain things. And, like in real life, things start to change in the game not because the majority wants it but because the minority is very loud..

Yeah that might be true but take a look at my comments in my FFXIV videos, you do get a lot of what you are talking about but I think you get even more people who respect my opinion and agree there are things that could improve. But of course, the negative and immature comments always stand out and stay with me more so I try and balance it out with making sure I acknowledge it’s not everyone.

@@genjigearlive i think its because the community has an inferiority complex with wow. i feel like if both games were equal quantities theres a large group of people that never would of given ff14 a chance
