At LEICA's 2023 COP Event (Celebration of Photography), I had the opportunity to shoot an episode of my Talking Cameras series. Thanks to all of this year's participants. I hope to make this an annual series at every Leica COP event. A special thanks to Andrea Pacella for the invitation, and the rest of the Leica family for your help in making this video. My favourite Leica camera is the TL2 -- truly carrying the M3's torch for being deft and delightful. A re-invented TL3 could expressly reference the M3 - maybe even make it a touch taller with an EVF.

The T and TL series were very unique cameras. I reviewed the very first one by taking it to Hong Kong with me on a work trip. I will eventually add one to my kit. Good choice!

For myself, it doesn’t need the hybrid viewfinder experience, but an adjustable magnifying viewfinder would be awesome, from 0.58 to 0.91x.

@@bigheadtaco Definitely! The M3 is the most interesting M, largely for that reason. The Voigtlaender R3A (?) has a 1.00x magnification which tempts me, but I rarely shoot film so my M6 is more than sufficient.

every photographer's journey to becoming an ambassador of any camera manufacturer is different. Specifically with Leica, I have noticed many similarities, although each country and/or region still works independently of each other. Most if not all Leica ambassadors are working professionals and use their Leica gear as their primary cameras. Many of them have spent years or decades working and developing their own style. Many have published books, or have been published in books, magazines, online websites. Many conduct workshops or give talks, and many are considered experts in their field of photography. The best way to become a Leica ambassador is probably to reach out to one and ask them if they can mentor you and give you very straight-forward advice on your body of work.
