1:03:25 Super frustrating having the code and comments in two places. In addition to that, the issue queue is cluttered/mixed in with code review, general comments, support requests, status updates, related issues, patches, automated MR comments.. It's really hard to navigate for someone new to Drupal. Not to mention the email spam everytime an issue is updated. How many of our inboxes are completely taken over by issue queue updates?

50:00 I got excited about Drupal local dev with DDEV.. isn't that enough? You can then deploy to a few integrated hosts with a command..

Like was said I think it's a marketing issue. When you go to a react app site it says "run 2 commands then go to your browser", Drupal needs an "official" spin up a site in a couple commands easy to find on the site so new people can get started right away. Yes I agree ddev does have pre setup things you can run that help and make it fast but it's not obvious and easy like some other projects do.

Drupal is my favorite web framework. It can really do anything, and it’s free. Drupal’s weakest points imo are its marketing and its content authoring experience. The developer experience to me is far from why Drupal is not as popular as it should be.
