Been a fan of Paul’s music for more years than either he or I care to remember. I was fortunate to catch him on tour in Birmingham city hall a few years back. His performance for me, was marred by Paul’s apology, in his introduction to ‘Nothing but the same old story’. No apology should ever be made for a song that gives an honest view of the situation many Irishmen, including my late father, faced in the fifties and sixties. Look forward to hearing the new album.
