Being Waukesha born and my final WI residence being Clam Lake I appreciate history of my home state. I'm far, far away now in Alaska. Looking forward to the next video, as Clam Lake was known for lumber long, long ago. History is fun!

I worked at the depot in Duluth for 10 years, and I know that train! I worked in the train museum. I also worked for the Northshore seanic rr. Oh, which, by the way, is attached to the train museum. Very creepy things happened .always felt watched😮. Loved it and all the people and trains.

That’s great. Thanks for sharing. I’m hoping to get up there later in the week. What an interesting place to work.

How many were supposed to be on the train but missed it?

Hi John, unfortunately I was never able to definitively pinpoint that. I hesitate to guess either. Being X-Mas season I suspect both coaches and the one sleeper were close to full.

Birth dates, death dates, and ages in general can be wildly inconsistent. It saddens me to see the inconsistency in relation to people of color, immigrants, and lower income populations throughout history.
