I love the rare plainness of this video. In this crazy youtube world, it's usually the case it's full of editing like cut transition, close up, cutting, subtitling or whatever. Without it, the watching experience becomes much more immersive and personal so I get to contemplate his words far more naturally. I appreciate it.

One of the best Robert Green interviews. Thank you. One question I would have loved to ask him would have been what advise he would give to a person who is middle aged trying to reinvent himself and escape from mediocre life. I believe this is one demographic that is being neglected and for a good reason; it is hard to influence an older person to change their life but there is a minority of people who can be helped

Robert Greene is very logical and expresses himself very well. I agree with most of what was discussed. There was one comment that Robert stated about poverty, that being poor robs you of your creativity. Thus I disagree with as my experience having been there is I was much more creative. Using creative ways to stretch a dollar, coming up with creative ways to entertain my kids, creative in cooking, exercising when could not afford the gym, etc etc. Has anyone else experienced this?

Quote: " - I had the most soulcrushing jobs. I know what not having money can do to you. You can´t be creative. You can´t think properly. It´s not good for your health. So I value money for the freedom they can give. It means I don´t have to worry about things and I can do things that are important to me." And then many people say money doesn´t make you happy. Maybe not but they can certainly put a lot of things in motion for you if you use them wisely.
@shermaynebrown5165
@shermaynebrown5165 4 жыл бұрын
The dominant message that money doesn't make you happy is designed for you NOT to pursue the power and options that come with having enough money not to ever think about it and instead to focus on what is important to you. It's a deception tactic.
