That's why Italy is regarded as the birthplace of style. You don't even need to listen to him talk about his passion of collecting watches and you get the sense that this man has taste. Just make a quick comparison of what they are wearing, which is the exact same thing: V neck and a shirt. One looks like a grandad... and the other one is Alfredo Paramico.

Alfredo is such a gentleman who apparently know how to spend money on watches unlike some guys from the word of sport or music (for example). No diamonds, no fancy (kitschy) Hublot, Franch Muller, Rolex and other posing brands. This is probably the best collection ive ever seen and i guess its just a 10% of his collection.
@Frankmejor7 жыл бұрын
el serbio what makes rolex a posing brand and patek not ?
@metinotje7 жыл бұрын
You know shit. He loves Rolex and collects them. He actually likes diamonds and stones, look at his instagram. So stop talking.....
@SirStamford276 жыл бұрын
@@sirjohnsnowflakejr.3736 Rolex is the main 'posing' brand. I like Rolex, but they are. People who come into money, don't really know much about watches, but want people to think they do, they'll buy a Rolex. I'm not knocking Rolex here, they make great watches, but that is the downside of being so popular. I doubt Rolex see it as a downside.
@TomasLonga6 жыл бұрын
Fully agree with you. Rolex is the "entry level" into serious watches and for most of us, it was the first serious watch. From there are only two roads. One to PP, VC, JLC, ALS and AP or the other way to Richard Mille, Hublot and other travesty brands.

It's one thing to be rich. Another to collect only understated and elegant things. There are some mega expensive pieces here but none appears flashy and everything looks like he'd casually wear them without fuss. No massive gold and diamond pieces, just an eye for aesthetics, proportions & historical importance.

The watch Mr Alfredo Paramico dreams about is Patek Philippe stainless steel monopusher doctor’s chronograph with pulsometer dial and sector design, as well as an aged off-white silvered dial. Only two such watches were ever made, both for a South American retailer, with the other currently residing in the Patek Philippe museum in Geneva. It was sold for $4,987,383 (£3,204,633.61), which is a world record for any watch cased in stainless steel.

Interesting thing about those 570’s... if you look carefully at the the pink gold one, there is no gap between the seconds register and the 5h marker. If you look at the yellow gold one, there is a little gap, and on the steel watch, there is a big gap. The breguet numerals on the steel seem a little smaller. Anyway, very very charming.
