@@tryitout-701 Obviously I would absolutely love to own a watch from any of those brands, but what I was getting at is that talking watches has been feeling very repetitive. Like John's collection. They're all cool watches but we've seen them a million times, it's just "This Daytona is slightly different to the millions of others you've seen, therefore I spent your entire neighbourhood's life savings combined on it." It gets so boring and depressing. This video actually taught me about watches I hadn't seen before and reminded me of watches I forgot existed. And what's even better than that, I can afford them.

His colleague Jordan Schlansky wears a Daytona and Conan seems to be pretty familiar with it based on their conversation in one segment I watched, so maybe Conan has one too? Other than that I’ve never really seen other noticeable pieces on Conan.

Great episode! What I love about some of these lesser known defunct brands is that basic time only pieces are very affordable. I have a nice Doxa and a Favre-Leuba, each cost less than $100. My big purchase will be a vintage Junghans chrono soon.

Great EP of TW. Nice to see a vintage collector with the same taste as I do. Vintage watches do not need to be super expensive or always in mint condition. It is the connection that you have with them that matters.
