Wow. A guy that actually has a collection of watches that he searched and appreciated the story of each one, instead of 20 incarnations of the same thing. These are the types of collections I love. I love a Rolex and a Patek, but after you show me one Sub in your collection, I really don't need to see the other 10 you have. This is my favorite episode so far. I tend to have some off the beaten path watches in my collection also. Love this.

I bought a 1985 FJ60 from TLC in 1997. Loved it but ended up giving it to my cousin years later when he needed a vehicle. Wish I still had it (or could afford an Icon). Love Jonathan's taste in vehicles and watches. Classic.

I saw this Talking Watches 8 years ago, and It just hit me today, that it's the same Jonathan Ward, the actor, that I grew upon. I love the fact that he is an entrepreneur and has an amazing collection and impeccable taste ⌚️🤝🙏

Jonathan is a very relatable and likable guy. The story behind the collection is well justified wherein he is often attracted to the design elements rather than the popularity or price tag of a timepiece. Of course the best part is his tip on saving up for a watch purchase that won't anger the wife. Who can't relate to that? ;)

This is my fav guy you have interviewed. Nice collection, even better humble and down to earth personality it seems. And he worked damn hard too. Watch collecting is a passion. I see people with amazing collections, with 5 breguets, and don't even know the coin edge on the breguet is their signature style. Overall all the folks you interview seems to be true lovers of watches.

He builds awesome cars, and his preference in style for his cars and attention to detail is reflected in his collection! He is both a geek and a real dude Lebowski style. So that makes him... a gude, i guess?! Proud to be one two, be it less well off, and less well marinated. Also slightly younger, time enough to up my vintage game ;-) If I would have to choose between a ridiculously expensive watch or one of his cars, his cars win, hands down.
