Tom Barber and Will Ramos are my favorite vocalists because they are brutal af, have amazing range, and have the best personalities! Suffer in Heaven, Suffer in Hell is a contender for aoty imo. They are perfect from start to finish! I feel like Chelsea Grin is making some of their best music ever since Tom has joined the band.

Fucking loved the comment he made about how he used to walk to the bus listening to Cheslea Grin, and now he's writing music with them. My guy, you ARE Chelsea Grin. The band might have been around for all of these years, but they became legendary with Tom's vocals. The energy and groove is what completed the band.

I've met Tom in person on 2 occasions, and then there was a time where I got my haircut by Joe Bad of Fit For An Autopsy and I was was wearing a Darko US shirt, all of a sudden Joe just fucking FaceTimes Tom saying "yeah im cutting this guys hair and he's wearing this shirt of a band I've never heard of, can you tell me who this is?" And we spent a few moments just facetiming Tom lmfao

While Chelsea Grin is arguably at its strongest point in the band's history (sorry old schoolers, but I truly think they are), Darko has some of the best music in the deathcore scene, imo. It's semi formulaic in some aspects (extraordinarily low 9 string guitar rhythmic chugs with eerie/melodic synth patterns thrown on top of it), but paradoxically at the same time you never truly know where their music is gonna go because Josh and Tom have the freedom to do quite literally whatever the hell they want with it; it's so strange how their music is expected to sound the way that it does, but they keep you on your toes hitting you with unexpected twists every time that blow those same expectations out of the water. ... Tom is the best friend I've never met.

I wish there was an entire episode on Darko US cuz that band to me is far above... everything. Some people say stuff like that knowing they're exaggerating but I'm being very precise-- nothing comes remotely close to me, with what Darko is doing. Tom and Baby J are fucking cracked out of their minds and releasing nothing but the freshest sickest shit I've ever heard in almost 30 years of listening to metal

I saw Chelsea back in like September in Montreal. TOM IS A MONSTER LIVE. He got to the end of fathomless maw and he did BETTER VOCALS THAN THE ALBUM. when he went right in for that last growl the crowd fuckin blew up. I'll see these boys any time they come back.
