Phenomenal review! My wife bought this camera almost a year ago for her business and just like you said, it had not received the recognition it deserves. Thanks for your time and wonderful efforts into making this production on the review of such a fantastic camera!

I just bought one of these to go with my HPX250 and my AF100. I'm impressed with the build quality on this unit. I have a gig tonight. I haven't really tested it but I matched the settings as best as I could with the HPX250. Gerry in Calgary

I bought one of these two years ago. It has been one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I really have to work hard in post to make my two GH5s look as good as this.

Hey Gerald, could you provide me your scene file settings. I am curious if they maybe are better than mine so I can tweak them a bit.

Good afternoon! I am very pleased PX270 in the past I worked for 2 years with AC90. Go to standard settings for the scene file? I use Cinelink D and edited in Final Cut Pro X.

Hello Matt, wow I see why you laid down your DSLR....this is NICE! Question, is possible would you try to do a video regarding the rig you have on this camera. Thanks Matt. Also I visited your website and I see that you're in CT....I'm from Waterbury originally.

So I was nearly sold until I read your response to noise in low light! Do you have an update on that?

May I ask how did you add on all those accessories to your camcorder ? Or how do you have the Focus Wheel Model connected ? That’s a cool looking camera One day I hope to afford one. But for now just looking.

Hi Matthew, great video. Just curious to know what camera you shot the personal introduction and talking head scenes with. Everything is going 4k and above, but this is still a great camera. Thanks in advance!

Greetings, In your opinion , which is the best shotgun MIC for run n' gun shooting for my AJ PX270? , we are already using Sennheizer lavaliers to record externally.. I just want to know what is the best possible shotgun mic (to be mounted on the mic holder) for my PX270 . Thank you Great review by the way

gabriel de la mora I use a Rode NTG 2, either on camera, or on a boom for interviews. Sounds good, and at about $220.00 not expensive.

Hello Matthew, I just bought a few of these and I'm having a bit of trouble with noise when trying to get a "cine" or "film" look. I was wondering if you have the same issue? Or if you've compensated for this in your scene file settings. From your video, it appears like we're using the same scene file settings. Thanks & great review!!

kylegeldmaker .... having the same problem... unfortunately the grain is too much for me with this camera. I didn't notice it at first, but once I hit a project that was really clean (product videography in a white environment), it stood out like a sore thumb... now that is all I see. Please post if you get any scene file settings that reduce the grain. I have had no luck and I am bummed about it.

are you still using the camera? I've only shot using cine/film scene files, I wonder if its still present in the normal HD modes.

+Matthew Abourezk , I was thinking of getting this camera and saw your review, are you still having problems with grainy footage? I have a sony nx5u and the lux on that is 1.5 and tends to need more light in indoor settings. I saw at B&H that the lux on this is .02 with the gain set to 18db and set to High sens mode. Normally I would try to keep the gain to 0db, so I would guess the lux would be around .25 to .50 for this camera. Would I end up with grainy footage using this camera? And I'm debating on getting this camera or sony pmw 200 or 300. Thank You

Alot of people are going more and more to Panasonic. I always trust Panasonic for video. Not the best on photography, but excellent on video. Hate Canon. Canon sucks!
