But i end up selling it because of frequent issues. Very often electronics issues, lower arm issues, mileage, ac issues, allignment issues and all. Also very expensive to maintain.

@@vighneshs416 Zen is incredibly cheap to buy and to own, there is no complication to repair and most parts are available in market. The car is pretty reliable and can take abuse. Mechanical parts might be a bit difficult to find, buy are available in plenty as scraps which again is cheap. My car cost me 40k in 2015and had invested 20k for first reregistration. It was completely submerged in 2018 flood, still brought back to life rebuilding completely and is working just fine and let me add that there was not even a single spot of Rust even when it took me over a year to clean and rebuild the car from scratch. and the repair cost was just 35k(with new paint job, a lot of new hardware parts and mechanical parts). Now i have re-registered it for second time and passed the RTO scrutiny and pollution test without any issue. you can get a Zen for prices as low as 30,000(carburrated ), but might have reached end of registration period, so will have to spend a 10-20k for repairs and registration. I would say its better to get the prefacelift MPFI zen, which is re-registered recently that you can get around 60-70k. Those are better in every aspects

Under 1 lakh best diesel would be a Vista. Its most comfortable car in bumpy roads and spacious than a nexon. Missing my old Vista that can take hammering from two wheelers and autos in kochi and go by waving to them. Since it was having a lot of scars the intimidation level is comparable to an suv like fortuner.

actually we bought santro xing in 2009, wonderful car, ac is very good as we also had an alto, so we could compare both, 1 lakh 50 thousand kms odichu, no issues from engine, transmission side .......only regular maintenance and clutch at 1 lakh kms...........performance is very good. we used to go to mysore with going above 120 . the version we had has both petrol and cng. Our car was very well maintained, but exchanged for creta....we got only 1.2 lakhs....................noyhing to think just go for it.

Just nitpicking the already great list ! 1. A star the ugly cousin of estilo (nope I don't like the zen badge) had an automatic transmission too 2. HM Ambassador. As a different purpose vehicle the suspension can be jacked up and used as a load carrier. Seen such a car ! 3. Tata Sumo/ Mahindra Bolero (Old Di ones are classy) Logan had a 1.4 and 1.6 petrol, rare ones. The wiper wasn't single but an inverted one sweeping right to left. Cheers guys ✌️

Dears, How could you miss the versatile and the most utilitarian cars of all in the lower end of spectrum- the Omni.. RWD, easy to drive and cheap to maintain, can seat 8, nimble and high city driveability, can haul cargo and what not..it's one car that always punched above it's weight. I waited till the very end of the video for a mention of that :( you touched upon M800, even Gypsy too but not Omni. I own one as a beater car. In fact, beater is not the word :)

പഴയ വണ്ടികൾ ഇഷ്ടമാണ് അവ തരുന്ന ഫീൽ , ആ കാലത്തേക്ക് നമ്മളെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന electronics അധികം ഇല്ലാത്ത mechanical ഫീൽ ഉള്ള, സ്‌പോർട്ടി ആയ, Soul ഉള്ള വണ്ടികൾ ....അതുകൊണ്ട് Zen/Esteem/Lancer...ഇവയിൽ ഏതെങ്കിലും വാങ്ങണം എന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു . (laura rs , civic,Abarth punto,figo,octavia,city,...ഒക്കെ വാങ്ങണം എന്നുണ്ട് പക്ഷെ ....can't afford them now 😑. Afford ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റുമ്പോൾ അതൊക്കെ available അല്ലാതാവുമോ എന്ന ഭയം ആണ് )
