This is exactly Why I was skeptical about all these new claims about new startups Electric scooters and bikes. More than 100 ev startups are getting registered every year and getting huge fundings... With claims to launch products with specs soooo optimistic that we find it hard to believe....but only one or two are actually coming out with a product( Ather being one), The rest just scraps the idea after the funding (which they doesn't need to pay back). I have heard about many Electric startups coming out with a product and conducting media drives only to disappear after few months... and in most cases the prototypes doesn't showcase any figures they claimed to produce, some even breaks down in prototype drives😅. All these are one reason why I respect Ather, its not perfect but they launched a product and still runs as a company. So I won't believe any of em until I see a believable riding review from some Journalist I trust or if I get to ride one. Still, hopes OLA to be good but not believing its specs until its launched.

Awesome video.i was also skeptical to choose ather/ola/simple for range eventhough I trust ather than other options.but after this video one is down now which made it little easy to decide now. Please also talk about ola's motor as it's said that they are built for Netherlands cold temperature and won't suit here as it doesn't have proper airvent to cool down and its design to give more storage space.

@Aswin Biju - I don't see any issue with the Ather registration number, since it is a pre-production model. Lot of companies source and just put it for display purpose. Who know the touchscreen panel Simple One is sourcing from - also provide it to Ather? if you look closely Simple Energy did not had a charging port. Does it mean the production model will not have a charging port at all? This is Ather paid promotion video. I used to be a great admirer of Ather till its launch, but after they rolled out with ridiculous subscription plans, I have changed my mind about this company.

That means Simple One is purchasing from Ather and selling for losses? Do you mean the belt vs Chain drive is costing the difference amount of Rs. 20K? Will that make business sense? Common bro let's wait for the production model to come out. I am not insisting you to purchase but why bad mouthing even before it hits the roads?

If you see simple energy ceo's QnA in autocar😑.we can see he is not sure about anything and he is hiding somany things like suspension etc.Even he says they have patented brakes and motor chasis.if its an ather then that is also a lie.switches of simple energy is taken from ntorq and i think they have taken an ather and put together some new panels and parts of other scooters .Then presented it as a new product.😬 Lets hopefully wait for ultraviolet f77.its fit and finish seems to be good. Ev's are the future but it will take some time for the proper establishment.Lets wait for better ev's.🤗

Motor, battery, UI ഒക്കെ അവർ demo കൊടുത്തു. ഇതൊക്കെ ഒരു company ൽ ജനത്തിന് വിശ്വാസ്യത വളർത്തുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ ആണ്. ഇത് വായുവിൽ നിന്ന് scooter ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ പരുപാടി ആയിപ്പോയി. സംഭവം inversters നെ പിടിക്കാൻ ഉള്ള trick ആണ്. ഇപ്പൊ തന്നെ booking amount ൽ നിന്ന് ഒരു 10 കോടി ഉണ്ടാക്കിക്കാണും. അതിന് ഒരു ather എടുത്ത് panels മാറ്റി ടയർ മാറ്റി ഒരു UI ഉം വെച്ചു കൊടുത്തു. അടിപൊളി.

Simple ന്റെ youtube ഒഫീഷ്യൽ യൂട്യൂബ് ചാനലിൽ അന്ന് ലോഞ്ചിന്റെ അന്നാണ് ആദ്യത്തെ വീഡിയോ വന്നത്.. ola ഒരു പ്രീ റെക്കോർഡ് വീഡിയോ ഒക്കെയായി പക്കാ പ്രൊഫഷണൽ ആരുന്നു.Simple ന്റെ ലോഞ്ച് കണ്ടപ്പോള് പണ്ട് പഠിക്കുന്ന സമയത്ത് ചെയ്ത PPT പോലെ തോന്നി എവിടെയൊക്കെയോ ഒരു കൺഫ്യൂഷൻ. സ്റ്റേജിലേക്ക് ഓടിച്ചു വന്ന വണ്ടി പിന്നെ അങ്ങോട്ടും ഇങ്ങോട്ടും ഒക്കെ.മാറ്റിയത് ഓടിക്കാതെ തള്ളിയാണ് മാറ്റിയത് സ്റ്റേജിലേക്ക് ഓടി വന്നു വണ്ടി പിന്നേ ഓടുന്ന ആരും കണ്ടില്ല... പിന്നെ രണ്ട് event ന്റെയും സമയം ola എന്തൊക്കെ പ്രൊമിസ് ചെയ്തു അതിലും. അതു എല്ലാം നോക്കി വച്ചു വൈകിട്ട് Simple അതിലും കുറച്ചൂടെ മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട വണ്ടി എന്നു കാണിക്കാൻ ചെയ്തപോലെ തോന്നി പലതും ola യുടെ ലോഞ്ച് കണ്ടു അതിനു ശേഷം ഉള്ള സമയത്തെ കൊണ്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ഒരു പ്രസന്റേഷൻ പോലെ തോന്നി അന്ന് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ . ലോഞ്ച് കഴിഞ്ഞു ola വണ്ടികളുടെ ക്യാമഫ്ലാഷ് വീഡിയോ ഒക്കെ വന്നു തുടങ്ങി . പക്ഷെ Simple യൂട്യൂബ് ചാനൽ ലോഞ്ചിന്റെ അന്ന് ഒന്ന് അനങ്ങിയത പിന്നേ വേറെ ഒന്നും അവിടെ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല . അന്ന് എനിക്കും freedom251 ആണ് ഓർമ്മ വന്നത്...

1. Talking cars being more of a generalist, should also start covering happenings in F1. As an sports F1 is excellent, but many of us don't understand the politics and nuances in F1. I guess that would be a great topic for talking cars for many episodes and have a healthy discussion. We get to know your favourites too.. 2.
