Once a democracy has fallen into a state of authoritarian dictatorship, it is almost impossible to reverse that move. The dictator completely surrounds himself with only total loyalists who are willing to do as the dictator wants including the military, information is controlled so that the people stop being informed and the purge gets worse and worse to the point even those closest to the dictator come under suspicion. Just look at how North Korea's leader acts and you will get an idea of what is in store for our country. Those love letters weren't a joke.
