Brother Bryce, I loved your story about your bouncy ball. I remember when I lived in Heber City, UT, many years ago. I was walking home from elementary school. I carried my flute in a special bag. I soon realized that my flute had fallen through a hole in the bag. I looked everywhere I had walked and all over the grass by our wardhouse. I looked and looked without success. I ended up going home without it. When I got home, I knelt down in my room and asked Heavenly Father if He would help me find it because I needed to play the next day. I went back to where I looked before, and there it was on the lawn where I had looked. I was so happy and thanked my Heavenly Father for helping me. I realized that He cared about me and answered my prayer. 💖

I like Enos' experience when he wrestled with the Lord and received his remission of sins, and then he asked, "How is it done, Lord? " and of course, the Lord replied, "Because of thy faith in Christ, whom thou hast never before heard nor seen" That experience you had as a 7 year old is heart warming. I love how the still, small voice can be so clear and solid and indisputable. I can give my witness to the same reinforcement of faith with each of these accumulated ACTS of faith. Also, I have felt the Lord pleased with me as I've held onto promises I've been given but have no logical reason to expect. I'm still in a situation where I have to trust in His will and timing and the only thing that keeps me going is my faith in Jesus Christ. What a great lesson, Brother Bryce! Thank you!

This has nothing to do with your content, which I love, but I really love it when you have a picture of Christ behind you. It gives me visual inspiration along with your words. Maybe change the picture with your content would be nice. You’re my favorite and have watched your atonement videos many times. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insight with us. God Bless You ❤

Brother bryce, I have been a member all my 70 yrs of my life. I go to the temple 2 or 3 x a week, I fulfill my church callings the best of my ability, minister to my sisters and even others. I pray and study the scriptures and listen to u and Mike every week among other great LDS podcasts. But my anguish is that the more I try to live as I should, the more unworthy I feel. The more I listen and try my best to do as I feel the Lord would have me do, the more inadequate and unworthy I feel. Please help me. I go to the temple and pray that the Lord would help me see my worth and His acceptance of my life. What more can I do?

You need to understand why you are feeling that way. It’s not because you’re getting worse. On the contrary, it’s because you’re getting better. You are increasing in light. Every time you receive more light it’s going to shine light on areas of your life that need improving. Those areas have always been there. But now your increased light is revealing them. Don’t be discouraged because you see them, be encouraged that you now have enough light to see what you couldn’t see before. Watch this:

Thank you very much for this series. I have a question that I am curious to get your opinion on. Will behavior that is sinful be permitted in for example the telestial kingdom? We believe that everyone will receive a kingdom in accordance with the law that they are willing to abide. Can a telestial being be forced to live the non-sinful celestial law? Is not the telestial law they’ve chosen the same that is sinful according to the celestial law? You’ve previously explained that for those who will not repent, they must pay the debt of the law, which makes sense because no unclean thing can be in God’s presence, and they will need to return to His presence temporarily for judgment. But after that they will go to the telestial kingdom separated from His presence, so can they then indulge in behavior that would make one unclean (ie sin)? Or perhaps it’s just not made clear enough from the scriptures or words of the apostles? Thanks again for the series. And whatever the case on the condition in the various kingdoms, I am so thankful for our Savior.

They will only go to the Telestial Kingdom if they obey the telestial law. “He who cannot abide the law of a telestial kingdom cannot abide a telestial glory; therefore he is not meet for a kingdom of glory. Therefore he must abide a kingdom which is not a kingdom of glory.” (D&C 88:24). Therefore, anyone who does not live the telestial law, cannot dwell in a telestial glory and must leave and go to a kingdom of no glory.
@josephgelwix67883 күн бұрын
@ thank you! So just as there are degrees of glory, there are also degrees of the law? For example, a celestial law of chastity, a lower terrestrial law of chastity, the lowest telestial law of chastity, and a lawless approach to chastity? The scriptures seem to take an approach of one end or the either - either in compliance with the highest law or in lawless rebellion. Just interesting what the different gradations might be to delineate between the various degrees. Maybe if the scriptures more clearly distinguished between the aspects of the terrestrial and telestial law people would be complacent and content in living the lower law, and as we should only be striving for the celestial it’s not worth our precious time to teach about the lower. Or maybe I’m just overthinking it
@@talkingscripture thanks so much, I look forward to listening and happy Sunday!

@@josephgelwix6788 Laws govern Principles. Example: The Law states that those who remain obedient and endure to the end according to the Principles of the Gospel, they will attain exaltation "Principles of the Gospel" are.. Faith, , Repentance for a remission of sins, Baptism, Gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to end. There are innumerable laws and Principles upon which they are based. Regarding the Mayan pyramids, what you say about the firm foundation is true, but may I suggest an alternative? My understanding is that the pyramid represents a mountain, and the temple is on top of the mountain. Consider, if you will, whether this interpretation conforms with what you know regarding mountains and temples…
