I had a roush 2650 pushing over 800 whp had trouble catching traction on mickeys. Have a ESS G3X setup now that is way better cause less low end but that top end is nuts!

Alex, regarding the Supercharger vs Turbo argument topic, I enjoyed my Supercharged 18 A10. I do however regret going from 3.0 Whipple on pump 91 (93 is not prevalent here). I went from a fun 600+rwhp setup that I could drive anywhere and hook up anywhere while getting 26 mpg on a road trips then switching to a 800+rwhp setup that I had to carry spare cans of E85 that never hooked on the street below 80 mph. That being said, a friend daily's his 3.0 Whipple Aluminator 1,000rwhp 17 A6 without much issues, so dailying a 1,000 is definitely not out of the ordinary around here. 🤷♂️

I have a hellion sleeper, 62's, manual gen2, my summer daily car, for 5 years/42k miles being boosted and no issues, had to replace one coolant line once. Car hooks on 40 rolls with 255 summer tires at 700whp and under, in warm weather, on fresh MT street Rs sometimes will hook in a 1st gear, 20 roll and same boost 40 roll pretty much always hooks at 15.5 PSI on E85, 900whp? IAT's always 4-5 degrees above outside temperature.

I had a ‘07 GT/CS single turbo (powerhouse turbo kit) car back in the day on 10-11lbs (67mm turbo) and loved daily driving that car but I hated having to no lift shift it to keep the boost up on shifts. Idk how the twin kits are on the coyotes but that would be my only vote against going turbo on anything except a race car.

You're the king my man!!!!! I have a 2023 Ford F150 4x4 with the FP Whipple. About to do Velocity Racing headers/catless Y-pipe, Whipple 130mm TB, ID1050X Injectors, Lund Tune, and full VAS 3/5, traction bars, front diff brace. I run on 92 Octane (Washington state) E85 available here but this is my daily driver and I just race in Mexico. Should be a nice little sleeper. Love your show man and all the information you put out.

I always forget to like the show but I do when I remember. I pay to be a member even though i never catch a live so I won’t win anything either. I pay for membership because all the knowledge I get I figure a membership is the least I can do. Love the show and I’m still grateful for you messaging me back when I was buying a new mustang and told me to steer clear of the 22 and I found a 1300 mile 20 and snatched it up instead so I could have it tuned for e85.

Alex you did for sure say that straight vs helical gears trips the knock sensors.

Show me where.

I said "might" never said "for sure" I've always maintained that the bracket is more responsible for false knock than the gears.

Gotcha. I mean it makes sense that it could, i just remember it so well because it was a "duh" moment when you said it, one of those things that makes sense but i never thought of.

Hello. I have a 2011 5.0 with a paxton with pretty much all of supporting mods. I Love it. BUT i want to switch to TT eventually, looking at Hellion or Armageddon kits. Reasons why I want to switch 1) Looks cool at cars and coffees 2) more of a monster for roll racing in Mexico once in a while. 3) Goal of 750-800 whp at lower boost than a blower = less stress on my motor. Question: How is quality and reliability of Hellion and/or Armageddon kits? I believe lund tuned a few armageddon kits and definitely hellion for s197. Alex, would you please give your opinion? Thank you.

I just want to say, blowcharger not only deleted my comment referring to them ripping off MFP, but they also blocked me for it. I count that as an absolute win since a few people saw it

Wrong on no need for ESS G3R Alex. 651mygarage did a dyno comparison between his previous G3 vs the G3R and the G3r makes more power on similar pulleys.

My 07 is 750ish with over 700 tq and it is all the 325/50/15 et street r I run can do to hold it in 2nd lol. They will when it's warmer they're awesome tires. That kind of power moves my 4000 lbs car with me in it with ease. People who act like it has to be 1000 to be impressive or fast are the type that's prob never driven anything faster than 13s or 14s in the quarter lol

My 18 F150 is at the shop getting new motor, cam phasers failed which caused misfires which caused valve damage is what the dealer said. Cold plugs, new cold air intake since old ones gone, E85, and 150 shot from Nitrous Express. Any tips to make sure I don’t turn out like Turvi?

Not like supercharged cars can't move tf out at the drag strip too it's a better setup for a street car imo.

@@midnight347 I mean building a fullblown drag car with all that money you spend You can have a much nicer street car and maybe even a higher end car

44:55 we called it "breaking it down Barney style" in the military. Sure you could know all of the fancy words and formulas and all of that, but if you couldn't "break it down" and teach a child how something works, do you even really know your job? I think that's what you're referring to here. Sure there's a bunch of knowledgeable people in the different communities, but if they can't break what they know down so your average car guy can understand, they will alienate their viewers and make them feel like they can't take on/understand anything about their car. One of the major reasons why I latched onto your channel 2 years ago was BECAUSE you can so that. Keep it up man, love the channel
