Lithuanian looks like Latin and sounds like Romanian. Even the endings of the nouns and verbs are quite familiar. The case system in Lithuanian reminds of the Latin case system. It seems to be easier than Slavic languages.

It's hard for me to compare the difficulty of Lithuanian and Slavic languages (because Lithuanian is my native language and I know only Russian) but from the student's perspective it might be hard to learn Lithuanian because there aren't that many materials to learn from which is exactly the opposite with Russian.

Honestly, I don’t even know. When I speak I always use iki, but then I here kol when listening to other people. So I rly don’t know.
