Ben Habib Brands UK Border Force “Glorified Taxi Service” As 50 Migrants Refused French Assistance

Fifty Channel migrants were rescued by UK Border Force after refusing assistance from a French warship.
Recorded messages between a British and a French vessel reveal the migrants “want(ed) UK assistance”, even though it was in French territorial waters.
It comes as net migration to the UK hit a new record high of 606,000 last year, driven by people from non-EU countries arriving for work, study and humanitarian reasons, new estimates show.
