However for the first 30 years or so, the govt's(one could say reasonable) intention, was to bring in a workforce chiefly from the Commonwealth countries to bolster an indigenous workforce that had been severely depleted by the effects of WW2, and to cater for the resurgence in post war industry, but since the BLIAR govt from '97,and particularly since 2000 the reasons for what is excessively high immigration have been more sinister and definitely NOT to the benefit of the UK in general. After 17 years of a Conservative govt, Blair was attempting to gerrymander the electorate to ensure that that never happened again;a policy continued by Brown, but the positively harmful and detrimental effects of excess immigration was, imo, DELIBERATELY allowed to continue by Cameron, May and latterly by Sunak in order to DESTROY this nation by diluting the very essence of Britishness , thereby creating a divided society upon which it would be MUCH EASIER to impose what is now happening ie the globalist agenda, by diluting an indigenous population that would be far more united in opposing of this policy. If people think the concept of globalism is a fairly recent phenomenon, it isn't; it's been many years in the making, and it was just a question in the estimation of it's protagonists( presently, in this country, of which include Sunak, Starmer and the biggest traitor of all, Charles) as to when they could begin it's implementation and have the best chance of it succeeding. That year, imo, was 2019 starting with the outbreak of Covid, which gave the world's govts' the first opportunity and excuse to limit our personal freedom and liberties and, therefore to ascertain just how much the public were willing to comply with their mandates, diktats, rules etc, and they must have been pleasantly surprised, if not highly delighted at the level of compliance. Understandably the high level of compliance being because the potential(now regarded as not very) seriousness of the disease was not really known, but it now appears to be the case that it was certainly and deliberately exaggerated by the govt and the 'scientists'. But what people do not seem to be realising is that, NOW, under the distractions of (after Covid) the TOTALLY FRAUDULENT concept that is climate change, the war in the Ukraine (how much about that conflict have we heard in the news recently?? Has it ended? Has it gone away?), the cost of living crisis, the spiralling, out of control immigration crisis and the latest crisis designed to occupy our minds, the Israeli, Palestine/Hamas situation, our freedom and liberty are continuing to be slowly but very surely eroded, and it's most immediately noticeable in the field of transport where, simply put,(the ultimate aim being to ban private car ownership altogether) people are both being DRIVEN off the roads by the greatly increasing costs of motoring (including things like the obnoxious Mayor of London's fraudulent money grabbing ULEZ tax), and, in a sense, SUBLIMINALLY ENCOURAGED to stop driving by what I, as an HGV driver, very definitely feel, is a concerted and deliberate attempt by the authorities to make our journeys from A to B LONGER, MORE FRUSTRATING, MORE DIFFICULT, MORE TIRESOME with what I see in the course of doing my work,ie the considerable increase in the incidence of roadworks and the consequent use of temporary traffic lights which almost inevitably create absolute havoc, (roadworks which, incidentally, I have reason to believe are started SIMPLY TO CREATE that havoc), the very much increased incidence of road closures (something which I rarely saw up until about a couple of years ago) forcing motorists to make frustrating time consuming detours, lane closures where it is a complete mystery to me as to what is being done behind the cones, often it appears to be nothing whatsoever, LTN's in cities and large towns, and the obvious inconvenience they cause motorists who live in or in their vicinity, and I have even detected a change in traffic light signalling priorities that now work AGAINST the main flow of traffic at very busy junctions with the obvious delays and frustration that that will cause. (And) the worrying thing is that people do not appear to be noticing these changes(or perhaps in a typical characteristic of British nature simply to put up, grumbling a bit, with the inconvenience of these annoying changes ) and the significance they have in the govt's plans, in general, to ultimately LIMIT our freedom and liberty and our absolute right to live our lives in the way we choose. It's called 'The Great Reset' and unless the public begin to wake up in much greater numbers,( which I sense, with cautious optimism, is starting to be the case ), to both the fact that it is being introduced slowly but surely, as we live and breathe, and its implications, our future existence will be a very bleak and miserable one.
