Harry should have looked to Princess Anne as a role model many decades ago. Exemplary example of capitalising on the opportunites one is given in life and working hard to be a credit to those who love and nurture you. She is dignity and duty personified. The same can be said for Catherine, Princess of Wales. Pre Meghan William and Catherine took harry with them to events and included him in projects. They didn't have to do that at all. They were making extra efforts to make harry feel included. I don't remember anytime say Charles and Andy go do a ribbon cutting or something like that. Really messed up. William wanted harry by his side. Princess Anne didn't go nuts being the "spare". Charlotte is a " spare". Princess Margaret was a "spare*. Why do they defend his behavior. He has a giant compound, money, privilege, a wife and kids. Everything he wanted and still miserable. I would have loved to be the spare. All the perks without the heavy responsibility. Harry was pretty free to go down any path he cjose. He wanted to be in the ar!y since a kid. He did that for ten years. Awful his mother died but none of us are safe from having to lose loved ones. Every single one of us has to go through it. He has a lot more than 99% of the planet. I completely agree Harry has got second child syndrome. He’s deeply envious of his brother’s status. I get that hurts, but he’s become angry and very vindictive, to the point he’s got things completely out of proportion. Prince William and Princess Catherine loved him dearly and always had his back. The irony is they would’ve always made sure he was looked after. Meghan on the other hand used Harry’s vulnerabilities and woes to manipulate him for her own ends and there’s where I disagree with the psychologist in that it wasn’t Meghan’s fault, because there were a great many now proven lies told by both of them with the intent to damage the RF. Harry has always wanted to be king. It's not like he ever did not get everything he wanted. Its just that he has always thought he deserved more and wether it was true or not he has thought that William is getting more. Look back on pictures of Harry and William before and after Catherine. William shared and included Harry in everything. He and Harry would not only walk together but ive noticed that Harry would be at least a step ahead of William. William has the self confidence that did not need to be the center of attention or star as Harry did and does. He let Harry shine and be the star. It's how Harry got to be more popular than William. The same when Catherine was around. WITH Meghan he can never be the star when she is present, he has to stay hidden in the background. His situation is far far worse than his life prior to Meghan. Remember also that William and Harry werent home together a lot as they had two separate walks of life and William has been with Catherine about half of Harry's life. The problem with Harry is that he feels entitled to privilege and feels that he is entitled to more than he has. What he never did learn from his mother that i think Diana tried to teach her boys is "gratitude". William apparently did because he is acutely aware of his privilege and has a sense of duty and responsibility to give back to the people .

I don’t think Harry’s intellectual intelligence is the problem but rather his emotional intelligence. If he were able to do a thought experiment and imagine what it must have been like to be William or Charles (just to take two important people in his life) when Diana was killed in that tragic accident, then he would see that it was just as hard for them as it was for him, albeit different in ways. Then maybe Harry would not feel so singled out, hard done by and victimised, and he would realise the pointlessness of revenge, which is an endless round of unnecessary violence against yourself and others. He would also realise that jealousy is not only a curse but superfluous because we are all children of the universe (or God’s children or children of Mother Nature) and we are all uniquely and infinitely blessed.

Disagree - Meghan didn't like the work, didn't want to do it, and was upset she wasn't being paid to do it, failing to understand that the 'payment' was in the privileges and prestige they had and were given, and not pecuniary, which is the only currency she seems to understand. Harry, on the other hand, liked (some of) the work, especially when not with William, as it made him feel big, e.g. when he went to Africa, made all those friends and forged relationships and did charitable works. What he didn't like was the fact William and Catherine were getting more and more attention because of their children, and the attention the children themselves garnered. He could not compete with babies as they pushed him down the line of succession. Focus was shifting away from him, he was getting older, no serious girlfriends or fiancé on the horizon, and wanted what his brother had - a lovely wife and gorgeous children. He is still trying to compete at that level. The only way for him to shine was to get out from under the shadow of his brother, and the wider family, or so he thought, and Meghan fed that thought. She was the only woman to agree to a life in the spotlight because that is what she wanted - she was his last and only chance to break away. Had he used the brains God gave him, he could have seen that being 2nd child gave him freedom, that his aunt (Anne) had come to terms with being passed over twice, even his paternal uncles weren't kicking up a storm because they were not first born, and learn from them. He could have tried to be as good as William but in other ways, and realise that competition was not the way forward - it's a race he cannot win.

As it's originally part of the contract deal he made with the publishers etc he allegedly can't legally prevent the soft cover version from being released, after the hard cover version was released a year before, apparently. He also can't change any of the original content of the book Spare, but could add more chapters to the soft cover which to be fair he isn't going to do so. Harry isn't the only royal to have done memoirs and live interviews etc. His father, the then Prince Charles also did a memoir saying all kinds of derogatory stuff about his experiences growing up as a royal. He apologised and mended fences with his royal family afterwards, which Harry hadn't done. The then Prince Charles also did a live interview admitting to adultery whilst married to Diana. The King who abdicated to marry Wallace Simpson also did a memoir. Iv also seen a live interview on TV of William and Harry years ago when staying together during a helicopter training thing. The interviewer asked Harry what it's like to live with William and Harry said positive things. William though spoke about having to clean up after Harry and generally critical if him. Okay so he didn't say stuff about Harry in a memoir, but he still did say critical things LIVE on air, seen by millions of viewers around the world about Harry. I know what I saw and heard. Harry only then made some sort of joking bantering remark about William and William retorted saying "That's rich comming from a GINGER". To me people with red or ginger hair can be just as good looking and intelligent and equal to anyone else, with blond, black or brown hair. Now I don't want to take sides, and think William has done well to Smarty Catherine, be a good husband and dad, and dies a lot of good work for charities etc, but just pointing out and reminding people that Harry is not the only royal to do books and say things in live interviews about the royals. So really I feel that both sides need to mend fences and apologise to each other. Not just Harry apologise it visa versa.

I think even if Harry had been born first he would still have envied William- if Harry had been born to be king and all the service to others that implies, he would have envied William his relative freedom to choose his own path and spend his life doing more of his own thing. I think Harry would probably have abdicated like Edward V111. Harry is a malcontent because he fails to see and accept his own strengths and weaknesses and then work with them and on them. This has little to do with family position. Although this can seem like a very plausible and convenient explanation, it certainly does explain or account for every person’s character and behaviour in their entirety.

I lost my mom in December of 1994. It's not easy losing a parent especially unexpectedly. But I've dealt with it and also the loss of my dad in September of 2000. Harold needs to find someone that can help him deal with his loss of his mom. Harold seems to forget that William lost his mother too. William got help a few years after she died. William doesn't blame everyone for his mothers death like Harold does.

I am a second child to my older brother by two years. I was blamed for everything. And if I wanted to practice the piano, I was told to stop when he needed quiet or wanted to watch TV. Pretty spoiled kid he was. But I carved out my own lot and quite separately. We actually got closer after my mother died. I guess he figured I was all he had left, barring his second wife, having lost his first to cancer. I love him dearly and we manage. Although we will never see eye-to-eye, it suits me fine. I like where I am. And I am sure he likes where he is. He has often asked me to move closer to him and his wife, but trust me, that will never happen.

Honestly, it is so jaw-dropping. I am a younger sister - and I got the smaller room, the hand-me-down clothes and sports equipment - all of that. And we didn't have vast sums of money to compensate for anything. I can't imagine living with so much resentment -- there is also the option of finding a huge amount of freedom and opportunity in not having the huge responsibilities that his brother has. But Harry is just too blinded by his jealousy. I do agree that it isn't Meghan's fault that Harry is such a petty victim - but there is no doubt that she has exacerbated these tendencies in Harry, rather than balance him. Rather pathetic - thank god he was born second.
