I left Greenock Scotland in 1976, I could see the writing on the wall at that time, and boy was I right, the whole industrial belt of Scotland was decimated and it has never recovered, there are now more carers in Scotland than welders, says it all

There's no incentive to work hard and be a responsible person when all our taxes are being spent on other countries or people who have never contributed. Taxation should start at £20,000 to give the lower paid a bit more left in their pockets.

My son is now living in Singapore as he couldn’t stand living in London anymore; crime, commuting, prices, working extremely long hours for very little return….. He loves it there and has hopes for the future
