Күн бұрын

Chairman Reform UK MP Richard Tice joins Talk’s Julia Hartley-Brewer to share the party’s strategy after gaining five seats in the General Election.
Nigel Farage gave a “100% promise” to rid Reform UK of “bad apples”, as multiple protesters disrupted an event designed to celebrate the party’s election gains.
The Reform UK leader walked on stage to lights and dance music, then faced a barrage of heckles from protesters in the audience as he tried to start a speech in central London to mark what the party described as a “political earthquake”.

I'm not, he could have joined Reform and not had Lee Anderson out there on his own but instead he joins Reclaim and then had to leave and stand as an independent anyway. If Bridgen had crossed the floor to Reform there would have been two Reform MPs prior to that snap election and put Reform in a stronger position going in. He might have potentially held his seat if he'd had the votes he garnered as an independent plus the reform vote and a harder swing against the Tories and Labour as a well known name. Now, I support a lot of the push back again woke that Laurence Fox has been engaged in but he's too maverick for dealing with the Westminster bubble, as his getting Dan Wooton sacked proved. However, Bridgen burnt his own bridges...

Sunderland voted for the BNP in high numbers around 2001 to 2010. It was the only Town in the Northeast that had a BNP branch, because it had so many activists and supporters in the town.

Richard Tice and Nigel Farage are great speakers and connect with the public. That's something that Sunak and Starmer can only dream of doing and I predict that the Labour Party will be in trouble very quickly with their policy on immigration and high taxation. The future can only go in one direction now and that's support for the Reform Party as it dawns on Labour voters they're been taken for suckers.
